Just my first attempt at making an Oathbreaker deck constructive feedback is encouraged and appreciated

Planeswalker Commander is Ugin, the Ineffable

Signature Spell is All Is Dust

Plan is to get out Ugin or one of the other cost reducers for our artifact cards and get out Mystic Forge and Sensei's Divining Top either by drawing them or by searching for either with the several tutor effects we have in the deck.

Once we have the forge out, if we have a Sensei's Divining Top we storm off by drawing a card and replacing the top card of our library with the Top , we can then play the Top from the top of the deck from Forge's passive ability, this allows us to draw our entire deck, and play all our cost reducers and Aetherflux Reservoir to storm kill our opponents, if we are able to get Paradox Engine out we are also able to produce absurd amounts of mana to put into a Walking Ballista and kill an opponent via that way.

If we are unable to get both Forge and top out at once, we are able to dig through our deck using many of the draw on ETB artifacts like This or This which if we have ugin out will be able to be played for 0 allowing us to dig through the deck effectively freely. We also can crack Draw 1 and Draw 2 during our combo to get rid of lands from the top of the library. If we have any of our three mana dorks 1/1 1/1 or 0/1 we can equip Skullclamp to turn them into a draw 2 getting rid of those pesky lands. But if we have Millikin and he is able to tap we can use him as an additional mill option which effectively gives us a draw when mystic forge is out

Our signature spell is All Is Dust (there are only 3 sorcery's and 5 instants that are colorless for us to choose from) which allows us to wipe the board of any hate cards before we attempt to combo off and win within a single turn.

To help with getting The Forge out, we have several tutors.

  1. Inventors' Fair
  2. Planar Bridge
  3. Ring of Three Wishes
  4. Tamiyo's Journal
  5. Kuldotha Forgemaster
Journal is the slowest of the tutors requiring 3 turns being down and as such it is a last resort, but you are able to crack the CLUE tokens to help draw lands when you have Mystic Forge out but not the Top out. Kuldotha Forgemaster is also slow,but I can be used the turn after we play it and also will put our tutor piece right onto the battlefield for us reducing the chances of an opponent interacting with a Counterspell . Ring of Three Wishes and Planar Bridge are great as they are able to be activated on the turn we get them out as long as we have enough mana for them.

Some upgrades to this deck include Mox Opal and Mishra's Workshop as they are able to produce mana more efficiently for this deck, but their prices put them out of my reach. To add The MOX just switch out Springleaf Drum and to put in The Workshop you can take out basically any of the lands but my suggestion would be Tomb of the Spirit Dragon as it is a very niche case where it would be useful to you. I'm Considering changing The Journal for Planar Portal but not too sure about it as of yet

Cards that I want to change but don't have at this time include

  1. Land upgrades
  2. Quicksand --> Darksteel Citadel
  3. Radiant Fountain --> Geier Reach Sanitarium
  4. Mage-Ring Network --> Detection Tower
  5. Nonland Upgrades
  6. Mana Geode --> Manakin
  7. Implements of Sacrifice --> Myr Retriever
  8. Tamiyo's Journal --> Chromatic Sphere

Please let me know what you would change and why in the comments below and I'll be refining and taking feedback to better this deck

Thankyou all for reading have a great day
