I seem to have found 2 variations of martyr proc. This is the first one where you play ghostly prison and try to stall with all your might until you reach the point where you either get emeria active, get proclamation forecast active or destroy all their lands with ghost quarter crucible of worlds synergy. I'd also like to note that this deck isn't meant to win against combo decks at all game 1 (gets way better with cards like nevermore, stony silence and 4x surgical extraction) instead focuses on the mana denial part with weathered wayfarer and crucible of worlds often making it nigh impossible for your opponent to attack through multiple copies of ghostly prison with more than 1 creature which you can happily chumpblock every turn with the synergy between squadron hawk and mistveil plains assuming the attacker doesn't have trample.

The other version plays a mini gideon tribal in the form of 2x gideon of trials 2x ally of zendikar and 1x the an himself, Gideon jura. As far as I can tell this version does have some clock that is an actual threat for the control decks in the format (my meta has 0 blue control decks). You kind of have to forsake the "cute" resource denial plan you had availible with crucible and wayfarer as there really isn't much space in the deck to tinker with.

The main difference between the 2 versions is that gideons can play rest in peace and win through it fairly comfortably while the crucible version (should?) play 4x surgical extraction as their grave hate of choice.Making this deck thrive in creature based metas and the choice between the 2 versions should be heavily influenced by rip or surgical being better in the meta (surgical is mostly better against combo decks while rest in peace outright murders some decks like dredge, and severely hinders the game plan of others like vengvine and living end).

Current SB in this version is geared towards combo decks, namely KCI and Storm under the assumption that our creature based matchups are quite favorable and with the absence of any blue-based control deck at my lgs I don't have to side for them, though there is a tron deck where the best line of play seems to be land destruction into surgical followed by additional land destruction (the variant is G/R so he doesn't have many basic lands to fetch for). I assume the graveyard based creature decks such as hollow one and vengevine might be a problem for the deck and might change the SB a bit to reflect that with a second copy of hallowed burial and perhaps relic or something.
