UR Delver

Modern

paolot

Sideboard

Based off of LSV's most recent lists this year (2016). This is my tweak on UR Delver in Modern. I have been playing the deck for a few years now and just keep coming back to it. I was on the Grixis train for about a year, but boy does it feel good to be back to pure UR.

I am especially happy with this list as I have been making subtle 1-3 card shifts to the 75 for years, and I feel like this is the best iteration yet. Every card is synergistic with every other. The maindeck is as pure as possible. Full on Delver tempo.

This is what I love to do most in Magic. Some games you will be Aggro, some you will be control. Some games you will swap several time between the two. This deck has a knack for winning games one turn before your opponents, and it is completely thrilling. I feel like each turn is a puzzle that you have to put together, and with Gitaxian Probe and Serum Visions, you are armed with a surplus of information to craft your lines.

Let me know what you think. I have spent probably 100's of hours thinking about the card choices, so I can go into detail about the reasoning for every card if anybody cares to know!
