This deck was created as a Commander version of a Modern deck I ran for awhile centered around Haakon, Stromgald Scourge. The deck is meant to outlast and overwhelm, even if your opponent(s) are running a lot of removal and board wipes. The deck leans all in on Knight tribal

The premise is pretty simple. Get Haakon, Stromgald Scourge into the graveyard. To do this I run cards like Call the Bloodline, Buried Alive, and Markov Dreadknight. Once there, he can hit the battlefield and you now have access to any knight that perished before him, or any knight that may perish henceforth. Granted that this strategy is nullified if Haakon is ever exiled. Mastermind's Acquisition helps get him back once, but that's the only thing I've got for that scenario. This is a weakness I haven't fully sorted out yet.

There are combos that pop up while Haakon is on the field in conjunction with any Instant or Sorcery with the Changeling mechanic. Since those spells are considered all creature types in all zones, Haakon lets us play them from the graveyard as if they were in our hand. So you can effectively cast those spells over and over and over and over... I use Nameless Inversion, and Crib Swap. Now throw Door of Destinies into the mix and everything gets boosted beyond belief.

Because the deck is so heavily focused on a ground pound strategy, it can pretty easily get out maneuvered. I'm looking to make it a bit more dynamic and better able to respond to different decks. Any suggestions and recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Update: This deck used to run a Vampire subtheme since there was a lot of knight crossover, however with the release of Throne of Eldrane...the deck got a major overhaul, swapping out 19 cards. Almost a fifth of the deck! I feel if runs a hell of a lot smoother now. Throne was just what this deck needed.
