STORM TIME! Legacy TES is my favorite deck of all time, and while we don't get Tendrils of Agony , this is the closest to that we'll get in modern. Rather than having tutors like you normally would in legacy, you have a billion cantrips, which helps get your storm count up to 20 rather than 10. . While this deck is incredibly hard to play, it almost entirely ignores what your opponent is doing and wants you just to go off before they win. In other words, if you play this deck well, it'll do you well 9 times out of 10. But if you don't, then hoooo boy you picked the wrong deck. After the banning of Gitaxian Probe and a bit of testing (more testing to come, I will post updates as I go), I found that Gifts Ungiven was the best replacement for the probe, as you can gifts for 3 Rituals and Past in Flames . At first I thought this deck was doomed because there was no good replacement for Pyromancer's Ascension, but this deck was saved due to the printing of Baral, Chief of Compliance and some Remand s, as the ability to essentially run 6+ Goblin Electromancer s synergizes well with Gifts Ungiven and the hard counter provides a good way to stall your opponent, regardless of the fact that it only returns to the hand. Hi all!

I am now testing Noxious Revival as a 1-of in the deck. This will help with grabbing a dork to go off (gifts for dork + dork + revival) as well as being able to grab sideboard cards easily (gifts for etruth + unsub + noxious or shattering + vandalblast + noxious) and grabbing storm cards back or using it as a guaranteed draw of a card in your bin on your draw step.

In addition, I am replacing the second Peer Through Depths with Unsubstantiate in order to have more mainboard interaction, a 5th remand for grapeshot and answers to G1 Abrupt Decay, Leyline of Sanctity, Rule of Law, Eidelon of Rhetoric, and other troublesome cards.

Finally, now that lantern has fallen out of the meta for the most part, I am replacing a piece of artifact hate with a second Empty the Warrens out of the board in order to increase speed against linear and other combo decks.
