This is an Abzan version BG/BR and Mardu Eldrazi decks. The deck focuses on strong hand disruption, multi functional removal, 2 for 1 creatures as well as powerful stompers. In addition, it runs Eldrazi Displacer for combo's with Kitchen Finks and Thought-Knot Seer.
The deck attempts to disrupt the enemy's hand and plays in a similar way to Jund early on, it has access to Hangarback Walker to produce a lingering souls-esque effect, and ancient stirrings to add consistency. Early gameplay is likely to be dominated by hand disruption and removal; aiming for an early Thought-Knot Seer or Reality Smasher.
The sideboard attempts to tackle mirror Eldrazi matches (Blessed Alliance) and tries to improve on the Tron matchup (Ghost Quarter + Surgical Extraction). In addition, Engineered Explosives allow for boardwipes against Affinity, Lantern etc. I opted for EE instead of Ratchet Bomb because of the speed, naturally, like all colorless spells, it can be dug up by Ancient Stirrings.
While the deck is technically a four color deck, it operates and mulligans quite well. Three colors plus colorless is still do-able with ancient stirrings and a lack of Noble Hierarchs. Having written a small application (why theorycraft when you can just run experiments :D), simulations showed it needed to mulligan approx 10% of the time due to land-related issues. Which seems quite acceptable in my opinion.
I'm generally interested in suggestions, as well as thoughts on possible match-ups. I'm interested in any analysis Bant Eldrazi players can provide as I think that might very well be the thoughest matchup :)
