So this was a spontaneous build to help a buddy who was tired of playing burn. He was interested in playing my Jeskai Tempo build but I had an idea for a version that was Mardu colors but dramatically different. This was the result (no sideboard as that's up to him to build according to the meta).

The concept is simple enough in it's execution. Really early drop creatures with an array of removal and mild hand control. There is creature recursion in the form of kolaghan's command and orzhov charm. The combination of all the above allow for a low to ground, resilient, controlish deck that can get around most problems in the meta.

More info to come in the future as he tests it.

Wow, I really dig this build. I've been on mardu midrange for a while now, and though I'm currently running a Nahiri/Emmy package, my first brews had Bob. (And seeker of the way, lol. For a while I even went full prowess with seeker, swiftspear, kiln fiend and abbot.) I'd never considered baby Gideon, and the synergies with the one drops and O-Charm are very intriguing. Well done sir, post some results if u get a chance.

Thanks, I will definitely do that. I've actually started liking this deck more than my jeskai build.
