Stax is an insanely powerful and underrated archetype of deckbuilding in EDH. People see it as the "no fun" lockdown control deck. While it does lock down everyone, it's very fun. Play every mean and spiteful card that stops anyone from doing anything, then pop out Derevi and start untapping or tapping whatever you want, slowly chipping away at your opponent's sanity.
