---Marath, Will of the Wild Blood Pod---

Combo/Stax deck with Marath, Will of the Wild, set up to abuse:

Birthing Pod/Yisan, the Wanderer Bard/Eldritch Evolution/Survival of the Fittest, which not only allow us to play Blood Pod with numerous answers and stax, but can also tutor for many combo pieces off of Marath. We use this for a game-ending Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker/Felidar Guardian/Karmic Guide combo, while giving access to strong toolbox/hatebear creatures to keep our opponents in check until we can fire off our combos

with

a land package including Crop Rotation, Lotus Cobra, Horizon Canopy, Fetchlands, and Ramunap Excavator, which gives us a toolbox with cards such as Strip Mine, Gaea's Cradle, and Ancient Tomb.

Our primary kill-conditions are Kiki-Jiki + Felidar Guardian/Village Bell-Ringer + Splinter Twin, with Earthcraft and Squirrel Nest as a backup combo.

The primary combo uses Birthing Pod (hence the archetype name, Pod. The "Blood" part of Blood Pod comes from Blood Moon, or in this case Magus of the Moon, commonly played with Pod), with any 3-cmc creature in play (conveniently, Marath is such a creature) and 3 mana available. You begin the chain by:

  1. Sacrifice the 3-cmc creature to Birthing Pod. Search for Felidar Guardian, flicker Birthing Pod with Guardian to have it return to play untapped.

  2. Sacrifice Guardian to Pod to search up Karmic Guide. When Guide enters the battlefield. Have it target Guardian in the graveyard to return it to the battlefield. Flicker the Pod again to reset it.

  3. Sacrifice Guardian again to search up Kiki-Jiki. Use Kiki-Jiki to copy Karmic Guide, returning Guardian to the battlefield.

  4. Flicker Kiki-Jiki to begin the infinite Guardian loop and win!

A similar line can be performed with Survival of the Fittest. Discard any creature to chain-discard through Guardian, Kiki-Jiki, and optionally Village Bell-Ringer (who also goes infinite with Kiki-Jiki), until you have them all in your graveyard and Karmic Guide in hand. Cast Karmic Guide, return Kiki-Jiki, copy Guide, return Guardian, reset Kiki-Jiki, go infinite.

Splinter Twin is used on Village Bell Ringer as an alternate infinite combo, as each copy untaps the enchanted Bell Ringer, making infinite copies with haste. This can be tutored directly into play with Academy Rector.

Now, let's suppose Kiki-Jiki and Splinter Twin both get exiled, and beatdown is not a viable option. How do we win? Our backup combo of Earthcraft and Squirrel Nest can finish the job!

Its requires a combat step, but is relatively easy to tutor up to hand/the battlefield with Enlightened Tutor, Sterling Grove, and Academy Rector. With SquirrelCraft, we can make an infinite army of chittering, skittering death.

This deck uses powerful tutors to find the combo pieces you need, with plenty of ramp to run them.
