Sultai Jace mid range control for modern. Building around Jace as the centerpiece the last few days has been fun, this seemed a natural progression. Initial testing performance has been better in almost every matchup tested than the Grixis oriented Jace deck with Bolas. My guess is that the simple synergy between Tarmogoyf and targeted discard as a threat and threat removal package is one of the more potent things a deck can do post Faithless Looting ban. Small sample size of about 2 dozen test games against exclusively the more represented decks in the format, still need to try this list against many decks, but a handful of games have been played against Tron, Jund, Stoneblade, and Burn. Work in progress at the moment.
