When I was a kid I loved kung fu; my dad took me to go see the Shaolin monks perform at the Civic Theatre when I was a kid and I have been hooked on the theme and idea ever since.

This deck is a kung fu, monk themed EDH deck with either Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest or Elsha of the Infinite as the commander. Small subtheme of scrolls as per the art of Shu Yun. My original list has Narset, Enlightened Master at the helm but it wasn't fun to play against.

Shu Yun is the main commander as I like the ability to play some politics with him and offer to give people's creatures double strike if they attack one of my opponents. Too bad he is too good at 1-2 shotting people so people don't often like to listen to politics. My original ideas for Shu Yun relied entirely on playing the battlefield and trying to just have my opponents attack each other, but the ultimately would just attack me.
