This is a land destruction/control deck with a handful of beaters for finishing the job. So lets get to it:
CRUSH THEIR SPIRIT
Land Destruction
Demolish, Desecration Plague and/or Ember Swallower will, more than likely, be available on T3, which will lead to a very unhappy opponent.
CRUSH THEIR MIND
Ramp
Elvish Mystic, Sylvan Caryatid, and Xenagos, the Reveler, will help you maintain your manabase after an Ember Swallower goes off, and give you an advantage for the control component of this deck.
CRUSH THEIR BODY
Beaters & Removal
Sagu Mauler or Ember Swallower + Xenagos, God of Revels are brutal when your opponent has nothing on the board. Throw in a couple Lightning Strikes and a little bounce from Retraction Helix to take care of anything that gets out on T1 or T2, and your opponent basically isn't playing.
I chose low cost counter spells that have the "unless opponent plays 1" b/c they tend to be easier to cast (requiring just one U mana) and I can bet they won't have that 1, ever.
I'm interested in any thoughts or suggestions you might have, even if that is against the Temur way.
