Mono green build around Nissa, Worldwaker.

Ive been wanting to build a deck around NIssa since the second i saw her get spoiled. I bought quite a few boosters but i was lucky enough to pull 4 of her so i knew it was fate ;)

The goal of the deck is to ramp up as quickly as possible and pound the face of your opponent with all your fatties. All the hydras hit hard and provide wonderful targets to sink mana into.

Nissa is a goddess. She does work and everyone knows it, she's such a bomb when she hits the field. She accelerates the mana ramp like crazy and makes 4/4 tramplers all day. Also her Ult is basically GG. If you untap with the army of 4/4 tramplers its over for any opponent.

Darksteel Citadel makes an incredible target for Nissa as it creates a 4/4 trampling indestructible elemental.

Courser of Kruphix is a great card and id have more in here if i could get my hands on them. You never have to draw a land again, it filters through your deck, and keeps the fatties coming.

Elvish Mystic is early acceleration and helps get the other ramp out quick.

Sylvan Caryatid has a great body for blocking and the hexproof is nice. Tapping for any color mana helps the ramp and the Garruk splash.

Voyaging Satyr untaps Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.... nuf said..

Polukranos, World Eater is a game winner. His 5/5 for 4 body alone is awesome but his monstrosity can clear the field and make for a devastating blow.

I cant praise Genesis Hydra enough. Its a fattie to beat with, its a deck searcher to grab exactly what i need at the present time, and whatever it grabs cant be countered. Sucks to suck blue.

Heroes' Bane is a so so card. I like that he is a wonderful mana sink. If i start top decking with nothing to use my mana on all my ramp is useless. Im going to lose to agro- mid game decks pretty easily if im just sitting there with a bunch of mana. However, hero lets you continually pump into it which i really like

Hornet Queen im not entirely sold on but when it hits the field my opponents pretty much cant attack me unless they are willing to lose everything they have on the field.

Verdant Haven is good ramp and helps me with Garruks black mana. Might take out for market festival as its twice as good but that 1 extra mana bugs me..

Garruk, Apex Predator is such a fantastic planeswalker. I honestly only put him in because I pulled 2 of him ( a Nissa and 2 Garruks in the same box XD ) but he has definitely proven himself. He's not worth running any swamps for but with the Sylvan Caryatids, Verdant Havens, and Genesis Hydras to get him out it really hasn't been an issue.

Hornet Nest is a solid blocker. He can not only chump block but then leaves in his wake a bunch of 1/1 deathtouch flyers.... have fun getting through that. It is especially useful when your opponent has a fattie of their own out. They WILL NOT attack you as it pretty much seals their fate. The only exception is trample........... this is very aggravating as they only need to assign lethal.. meaning 2 to kill it. Also deathtouch and trample is a painnnnnn as lethal is only 1 damage in that case.

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx was built for this deck. This card is just too good. So good thats its almost unfair.. almost. Not only is there a ton of devotion fodder in this deck but we can abuse it with the Voyaging Satyr (untaps any land) and maximize our gains by abusing the new legendary rule. When M14 released they changed the legendary rule so that you can chose which one you want to sac and which one stays on the field. This allows us to use nykthos, untap it with Voyaging Satyr then play our land for the turn, another Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and affectively use its effect 3 times. Its pretty broken. Ive used that several times to generate well into the 30+ mana territory.

And finally Perilous Vault. This may seem like an odd card with us putting so much mana and so many cards toward our devotion but i assure you its not. It all comes down to the wording. This card EXILES everything. Making it get rid of absolutely everything in our way. Indestructible or otherwise. I played a game where i generated an incredible amount of mana with nykthos and then sacked the valt, played a Polukranos and monstroused him on one turn. The next turn i easily swung for lethal. But anyway as i said the beauty of this card is in the wording. It exiles all non-land permanents.. Meaning all of the 4/4 tramplers that we generate with Nissa, which are still lands mind you, stick around after everything else has been cleared, Have fun recovering when i have 3 or 4 of those on the field.

All suggestions are welcome and all advice is appreciated as always!!!!! Im really excited about this deck so please feel free to build this for yourself and let me know how it plays!!

P.S. Sorry for not getting it up earlier, ive just been having so much fun with it!
