Death is such a wonderful thing...

Standard Budget Casual Combo Demons WB (Orzhov)

theGentlemanSeal

Death is such a wonderful thing, isn't it? Especially when it's your opponent that's dying. But enough small talk in which you, the reader, does no talking. Let's get onto the cards.

The One Drops:

Pharika's Chosen and Typhoid Rats : These rats and snakes can get really annoying for your opponent really fast. They discourage attacking early game and late game (and by late game I mean turn 3) they can start knocking down enemies like flies.

Ajani's Presence and Gods Willing: Nice protection spells, each with their own little benefit. God's Willing helps you even out card draw while Ajani's Presence can beef up your creatures a little.

Despise : Most of my friends have terrible poker faces while playing magic. And most of them also play really annoying creatures and planeswalkers. They will all hate me for this card. :)

The Two Drops:

Brain Maggot: More beautiful discard!!! Though it's not as permanent as Despise it will most likely eat one of your opponents burn/removal spells. And that's always fun.

Brave the Sands: An absolutely amazing card for this deck. Allows my rats and snakes to kill more attackers as well as attack without fear of counterattack. And all this for two mana!

Ordeal of Erebos : Can quickly beef up my tiny creatures to become more dangerous. Its final ability is cool too. Gotta love that discard.

The Three Drops:

Archetype of Courage: The heart and soul of this deck. He makes all my deathtouch creatures unkillable and all my non-deathtouch creatures slightly harder to kill.

Master of the Feast: A three mana 5/5 flying is amazing. There's no denying that. The downside where he gives my opponents card is pretty annoying, though. But, with all my discard spells I should be able to work around it, especially since it takes only 4 turns for this guy to win the game.

Agent of the Fates : 3/2 deathtouch for 3 mana? Pretty cool. Heroic ability that makes everyone else sacrifice a creature? Amazing! Especially when I can target him with anything from a Gods Willing to a Ordeal of Erebos .

Banishing Light: You use this when your opponent has something you don't like and you don't know how to kill it with rats and snakes.

The Four Drop:

Brutal Hordechief: He's really only in here for his ability. The rest of the card is just meh, but his ability is amazing!!! I can destroy an entire person's board with a single use of his ability (provided I have some rats and snakes on the battlefield). Also, another reason I only have one of him in here is that he's really expensive for what he is.

So, that's it. What? You were expecting more?!? I'm only a man, people!!! Lower your expectations of me a little!!! Sheesh. That being said, please +1 and comment. Because I need the respect of an online magic deck-building site to feel like I belong in the world.

Updates Add

Spirit of the Labyrinth may shut down stuff like Divination but unfortunately does not shut down the downside of Master of the Feast, which was the main reason I included her. Replaced her with Brain Maggot because it's also a two-drop and you can never go wrong with discard.
