Hello all! Welcome to my Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire deck! What's better than dragons? Reanimating TONS of dragons!

One of the main win-conditions of this deck is Living Death . Step 1: Fill your graveyard with dragons either by playing them or by using a wheel effect like Wheel of Fate , Dragon Mage , or Runehorn Hellkite Step 2: Have an "Enters the Battlefield" effect like Warstorm Surge , Dragon Tempest , Scourge of Valkas , or Lathliss, Dragon Queen in play Step 3: Play Living Death Step 4: Kill everyone with activations or by swinging because everyone has haste thanks to Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund or Anger is in the graveyard.

These ETB effects also do a great job beefing up your token generators. You haven't lived until you've swung with three dragons, including Utvara Hellkite , when you have Warstorm Surge in play. Lathliss, Dragon Queen , Wasitora, Nekoru Queen , and Mimic Vat also work wonderfully. Mimic Vat also works wonderfully with Kokusho, the Evening Star .

If that fails you can always get Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury or Atarka, World Render out there. Swinging with a ton of dragons while you have Crucible of Fire is a pretty effective way to win. Speaking of swinging, Vaevictis works particularly well when you can attack more, so Aggravated Assault , Scourge of the Throne , and Hellkite Charger are particularly useful.

The last thing is a small package to abuse Vaevictus's ability to cheat things into play by controlling the top card of your library; Cream of the Crop , Crystal Ball , and Sensei's Diving Top get the job done, and even work with Lurking Predators !
