Maybeboard

As of November 2018, this deck is decommissioned. The decklist will remain up.

This is my deck as it currently exists in its sleeves: my pride and joy to play, and my only good deck. I've made many attempts to construct another EDH deck, but fall short and return to upgrading this one. The deck has come far from its first roots: cards have come and gone, replaced by even stronger cards. But it is by no means complete. With every new set there exists a possibility that a new fatty will emerge, eager to bring the smackdown.

Fatties. Put them into play. I don't care how, just do it.

Cheat them in:

This was the deck running without the commander. It was a 3-player game using Planechase cards. The plane in use was Isle of Vesuva. Thanks to that, I had 2 Hamletback Goliath and 2 Worldspine Wurm, one of which I happily got to use Momentous Fall on, thus making the Goliaths even bigger. The guys were pretty much ready to scoop but they let me do this one turn. Using Scroll Rack, I put these 7 cards on top:

I guess it's time to use Xenagos, the Reveler's ultimate, thus putting those 7 cards onto the battlefield. Isle of Vesuva also made tokens of all of them, causing a frickton of ETB effects that we didn't feel like doing because I was just going to smash everything on the field.

This time I got to use Mayael more than once. It was just a 1-on-1 game against my younger brother (who was using Derevi, Empyrial Tactician). He had some stuff but nothing threatening so I decided to just end it. Somberwald Sage used to cast Eternal Witness, returning a Worldly Tutor which I used to put Craterhoof Behemoth on top of my deck. Mayael put it onto the field, giving everything +11/+11 and trample on top of Gisela, Blade of Goldnight doubling my damage.

I had Domri Rade, Elspeth, Knight-Errant, and Xenagos, the Reveler out. The guy I was playing picked off Elspeth and Domri, but not Xenagos; that was the first mistake. After plenty of ramping with Xenagos' +1, Sun Titan brought back Domri, and I eventually hit another successful Xenagos ultimate (only Return to Dust) didn't hit. Next turn brought out Craterhoof Behemoth for game.

The lighting in the room was kinda crappy. That one bright card is Bloom Tender. Basically just an expensive-looking field. Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Gisela, Blade of Goldnight + Xenagos, God of Revels = 32 damage in the air.

Domri Rade's emblem + Dragonlord Dromoka + Xenagos, God of Revels + Gisela, Blade of Goldnight = a lot of life (40 specifically)
