Eiganjo Castle is played in a lot of Geist decks to protect him when you want to attack with him but your opponent has bigger blockers.

AEther Vial is an incredible card in decks like these. Without it, Merfolk would not be nearly as powerful and it can add the same power to this deck. I understand the Selfless Spirit + Supreme Verdict combo mentioned above but I still don't know if I like 3 mainboard sweepers in a creature deck.

Path to Exile is the best white removal in modern

One weakness Spirits do have is that they do not have as many lords as elves or merfolk do. To rectify this you can play Adaptive Automaton and/or Phantasmal Image to copy the lord you do have.
