nbarry223 i thought about splashing black to add cards like Extirpate, Duress and some boardwipes. Also I really like to play with Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver and Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank /Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank but I wanted something more monocolor. Blue is my fav color, I thought about adding Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer and Mordenkainen however I'm not sure if they're any viable on their on.

wallisface Shark Typhoon is too expensive for me :( I'm thinking about splashing either or

TheOfficialCreator hm Jace, Wielder of Mysteries might be more helpful as a wincon but I'll have to empty my library quite fast. Leveler is an interesting card, could win if it by turn 5 if Jace doesn't get bounced or killed. Too risk but could work. Maybe main deck 4x Pact of Negation?

This is great! I didn't even see the combo between Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank but I love it! Definitely agree with the tutors for that. Im a little unsure about Soaring Thought-Thief because I don't really have many rogues but I could be wrong. I was originally thinking the same thing about Undead Alchemist but it would combo so well with the mill. Very cool adding in a few cards with intimidate to make the deck more aggressive. I also already have Jace's Mindseeker and a Increasing Confusion so I could swap those two in for something. This is great though I really like the build. The only one I'm confused about why it was cut is Nemesis of Reason because its only 5 mana and every time it attacks its 10 cards. I think of the maybeboard cards I would shell out for, Traumatize and Sphinx's Tutelage would probably be at the top of my list. But if I was gonna get 4-5 of the maybe board cards, what would you say is the best? I love this deck already and can't wait to put it together!

Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank is the combo I use here. The other combo gets targeted because it's more obvious, and Mindcrank helps without Duskmantle Guildmage out still.

As a side note, I generally don't like using infinate combos, and I know there are two in the deck with Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank and Freed from the Real + King Macar, the Gold-Cursed + Phenax, God of Deception . The first is in there in case, for some reason, it's not possible to mill my opponents out (I.E. They have something like Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre and I haven't drawn my graveyard removal). The second is effectively a targeted board wipe and won't win me the game. Since my playgroup is rather cut throat and is playing stuff like sliver decks and mind control decks, this is one of the few infinite combos that I'm fine with. Personally, I think Eater of the Dead and Consuming Aberration are way worse with my commander than King Macar, the Gold-Cursed.

FaiberJC Thank you, I really appreciate your comment. I would definitely go into the Wizard-tribal. In the section "Strategies" are already some ideas on how to play with wizards. Think of Naban, Dean of Iteration as a trigger for a additional effects.

The thing I'd work on is more on the Notion Thief + Whispering Madness -combo, working also with many other cards (Windfall, Day's Undoing, Teferi's Puzzle Box,...). Therefor think of Waste Not, Bone Miser or Words of Waste. Winning is possible with the Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank -combo.

Hello, thanks for your interest in my deckbuilding of Circu Circu's Field of Dreams (Lantern) [Primer]. To your question: Basically yes, the combo Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter , but I'm unsatisfied with this win condition. While playing the deck one of the problems is the board presence and also some hate coming from other players for taxing their stuff. Nevertheless I'd keep the Isochron Scepter-combo in as addition. With this artifact you can also imprint other important spells like Mystical Tutor, Reality Shift and also Cabal Ritual so this card is doing well. I don't like to depend so much on one win condition, so I'm going on for some rebuild.

Unfortunately I have not found yet time to give the deck an update. I'm going to cut for sure Archfiend of Depravity (to less interactions, no protection at all), Wizened Snitches (4 CMC is too much), Meekstone (No cards to tap other creatures). I also question the amount of Counterspells in the deck, guess those cards are not so important. Surprisingly well performed so far has Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver.

TrumpZone first of all thank you for the suggestions, I actually quite like Vicious Rumors . It allows for a discard and a mil, making up for the opponent getting to choose the discard. Not to mention it's a low cost way to trigger my Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank combo. Thoughtseize is mostly just in here because I have two of them to be honest.

Second the only reason I'm not running 4 of Glimpse the Unthinkable is the monetary value of the card. I am hoping to acquire a playset of them sooner or later though.

Also, I'd give yourself more credit as you gave all solid suggestions.

I didnt read all the comments but I do think that adding a Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank would be awesome. I also recommend Nightveil Spectre? and Ashiok, Dream Render

Overall though I love this deck, the budget is good and it is well constructed so it's a huge +1 for me.

Not to mention, Dimir Mil is my favorite and this feels similar to a deck if mine, What a nice deck you have...Aaand it's gone
