MTG Combo: Doran, the Siege Tower + Hold the Gates

I know what you mean about it being thin. Right now my goal is to survive long enough for me to burn them out with Crackling Perimeter, swing in with Gateway Shade, or combo with Doran, the Siege Tower + Hold the Gates . I planned to saty alive via life gain and the insane toughness buff i get from Hold the Gates. I really like Genesis Wave in here. Scapeshift seems a bit to $50 for me haha but i won't rule it out. Thanks so much btw. I may add some walls and take out some of the aggro stuff, if i do that should i keep in Doran?
