Love-in-Theory on Memnarch's cruel control

  1. Mechanized Production
  2. Darksteel Forge
  3. Fabricate
  4. Riptide Laboratory
  5. Boseiju, Who Shelters All
  6. Academy Ruins
  7. Nevinyrral's Disk
  8. Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur

Mechanized Production + Mycosynth Lattice - if you control 8 islands, you win!

Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice + Nevinyrral's Disk is total annihilation

Once Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur makes somebody discard their hand, it's the icing on the cake if you have memnarchs out. You then just steal whatever is left.

You can use Riptide Laboratory to bounce memnarchs to ur hand 2 save him.

I don't use Darksteel Reactor or Lux Cannon, as I think their both too slow without some charge counter gimmick. Memory Jar basically says you get some extra cards, mill opponents for 7 apiece, so I guess it fine. It doesn't work with getting threats out of their hand though.

Bust + Soul of New Phyrexia . Haha. Wow. Basically red's version of Armageddon + Avacyn, Angel of Hope . I personally use Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice + Nevinyrral's Disk , but that's because I have more artifact synergies. I think the first combo is more synergistic with your general and each card will be better on it's own anyway in that deck. I'd add Bust anyway, and the soul seems good. Just hold up 5 mana and when you're opponent wraths, well, yah.

Depends on what you're looking for here, but are some that I use:

Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice + Nevinyrral's Disk : Repeatable blow up your opponents' entire boards.
Mycosynth Lattice + Vandalblast : Blow up opponents boards.
Karn, Silver Golem + Mycosynth Lattice : Blow up lands for .
Metalworker + Staff of Domination + 3+ artifacts in hand: Infinite mana, life, creature tap/untaps and draw your deck.
Krark-Clan Ironworks + Nim Deathmantle + any creature that creates 2 or more tokens: Infinite mana and tokens. Use with Wurmcoil Engine, Precursor Golem, Pentavus, etc.
Arcbound Ravager + Dross Scorpion + Myr Turbine : Infinitely large Arcbound Ravager.
Rings of Brighthearth + anything really - Just so good with so many things. If you have infinite mana combos, you're probably already running it, but it's also great with stuff like Memory Jar/Magus of the Wheel to see more cards and fill the yard and Burnished Hart for serious ramp. Also awesome with the tutor effects from Kuldotha Forgemaster, Ring of Three Wishes and Planar Portal.

Don't discount having too many infinite mana combos. They feed your wheel effects and expensive tutors so you can assemble your game-ending combo. Also nice to take someone out outta nowhere with a Steel Hellkite :)

I have recently made a blue artifact deck (Arcum Dagsson) and I just realized, while looking through this list, you have the "Big 3" combo as my playgroup calls it (I have it too hehe)

Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice + Nevinyrral's Disk = complete destruction of every single permanent on the field except yours and things with indestructible

I would have given you a +1, but then I realized that I already did :)

I was in a similar spot to you. The real question is: how big of a jerk do you want to be?

If you just want to win, there are tons of brutal combos you can run in this deck, like Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice + Nevinyrral's Disk or Mindslaver + anything. That's just scratching the surface. That seems pretty boring to me though honestly. Unless your friends are into that sort of thing, in which case there are plenty of primers online to help you there. Tangle Wire is also in a similar boat, I feel like it's just going to get you a bunch of unnecessary hate.

If you're looking for something that's fun to play, and doesn't run a bunch of broken combos, I think I can try and help you there. I've got a pretty budget build from messing with the precon, feel free to take a look: Shinies! (A Tribute to Skritt)

Hellkite Tyrant is definitely a trap. It looks good on paper, but you're rarely going to get to 20 artifacts. What's more than likely going to happen is some blue mage is going to steal/copy your Hellkite Tyrant and swing at you and steal all of your artifacts! Not a great situation >_>

I'll take a closer look at the list later, got some stuff I need to get done. Good luck!

Also, if you feel like it take a look at my main commander deck, it's basically Keranos goodstuff.dec: The Affordable Boltcare Act
