I just took apart my Tatyova druid deck, since the landfall fit wasn't great for what I really wanted to do, which was yoink. I think I'll be rebuilding with Chulane, Teller of Tales , though, before I build with a mono-green druid commander like Seton, Krosan Protector . The deck can still be heavy green, but for such a focused strategy, what you really need to be able to do is dig through your deck, and both Chulane's ability and having access to blue are great for that. You also get access to Tatyova, Benthic Druid , Rashmi, Eternities Crafter , Noble Hierarch , Bloom Tender (yes, I know you get it in mono-green, but you see how that doesn't matter), Faeburrow Elder , Coiling Oracle , and Wood Sage .

Yea I saw this card and immediate laughed and thought Persistent Petitioners . I am actually already running Mobilize which is amazing haha. The other cards feel slow or not quite right. If i'm targeting petitioners I'm usually going to have to untap multiple for it to be effective. Cards like Freed from the Real and Galvanic Alchemist aren't too bad since they're repeatable. If I'm targeting Wood Sage I'm worried that over using him will lead to me milling too many needed cards since there's only like 3 shuffle effects in pauper and I'm running all three, and one of them is Devious Cover-Up ! Haha

GreatGoofini Thanks for the decks, and just a heads up that any brackets in deck names won't appear when listed in the compendium.

qzomak on Group Hug Adviser Mill

The idea started with gagging the power level of what a Persistent Petitioners should be. My play group largely consists of mostly highly tuned deck with power level around 8, so I want to build a deck that is able to survive and thrive in my group. But clearly a mill strategy is not that strong in EDH, so I went with a group hug mill route and play the politics. Since the difference in power at the beginning is so big, most players won't pay much attention to you. Plus mass card drawn is the most successful feel good strategy for group hug and with enchantments discouraging other player from targeting you and card draw in some way is just another to mill your opponents and with adviser mill to carry the deck in the final stretch of the race everything starting to take shape and form the basis of this deck. After play testing I realize I don’t need that many Persistent Petitioners because the best way to use petitioners is to hold it in your hand until in the last stretch when you see a opening or disrupt a player’s win con that has to do with the library therefore no need to cards like Bloodbond March , Wood Sage , Thrumming Stone etc. Instead I added counterspells for other’s win con disruption and my own jinky combo like Mindcrank Duskmantle Guildmage and Phyrexian Unlife Solemnity to increase my win percentage if I get to the final 1v1. This deck is ablt to get second play fairly consistantly and from time to time that mill strategy does work if game is longe. Overall I'm happy with what I got here and by sharing with the community helping ti get more feedback to improve and learn. Please work together and try to build the perfect Persistent Petitioners deck.

Deere101, I myself run a Sidisi deck and let me tell you, it's fun. I've been working on her over the years to get her more compettitive but she works great casually. I suggest adding Embalmer's Tools, at your opponents end step you can tap your zombies to hopefully get more before the start of your turn. You could also add Rot Farm Skeleton for some added self mill. Flesh-Eater Imp is a fun one for that surprise infect, adding a Swiftfoot Boots can help alot with this if your willing to drop a couple of bucks on it. Gaea's Blessing can be added to save you from decking out and Ghoultree is, in my opinion a better Molderhulk. Oh and Wood Sage is a good card to either get a creature you rather not have fall in your grave or just to trigger Sidisi.

Fun deck, but you only have 6 creatures with CMC 3 or less. I playtested it a couple times, and I never got the Soulflayer until past Turn 10 both times. Seems really contingent on having the Flayer to work. You also only have one source of Blue, and six cards that require it to be cast. I know they are mostly in there for the Soulflayer to Delve, but you don't have many reliable ways to discard the cards in your hand to the grave.

Right now it seems pretty unfocused and scattered. Cards that let you fish through the top X cards in your deck, put one in hand and discard the rest would be good for this deck. Examples include Benefaction of Rhonas, Bitter Revelation, Commune with the Gods, Forbidden Alchemy, Gather the Pack, Gifts Ungiven, Grisly Salvage, Moonlight Bargain, Mulch, Pieces of the Puzzle, Satyr Wayfinder, Scout the Borders, See the Unwritten, Strategic Planning, Sultai Ascendancy, Taigam's Scheming, Tracker's Instincts, Vigean Intuition, and Wood Sage.

Obviously, some of those are better than others. Pick the ones you think combo with the theme you want for this deck the best.

the synergy is that you get to discard your hand and with that you can retrieve the cards with tasigur's ability not only that but if he happens to be in your command zone that is a bunch of cards that can be delved away to cast him if need be.

i personally love the artifact so i am biased however i do feel that your commander would be able to use the jar

also while i know that you have Anvil of Bogardan i'd suggest Monastery Siege due to keeping your draw step while getting the looting effect and if you do not need it there is another mode to the enchantment for one blue devotion more

if you want to take the exile/mill strat further try Psychic Spiral with cards like Wood Sage and Crypt Incursion / Tormod's Crypt for your Oblivion Sower

also because why not add Cheatyface because un cards are always fun
