Yes! There are far too many tapped lands. I will definitely drop barren moor to 1 (which I already have done in my paper version of this deck) and evolving wilds to 3. I don't think quicksand is a good idea... I used to use that land but being colorless is just such a drawback for this deck that I would definitely never run more than 2.

I like the idea of mana elves a lot! I think they'd help the deck out for sure. Maybe I should run Elves of Deep Shadow as I seem tight on black mana a lot. I really should update this deck as the version I'm using is way better than what's up there right now. I've added Raven's Crime and Rootgrapple as well as one copy of Black Poplar Shaman

The only absurd thing about your comment is recommending me to drop Bosk Banneret !!! They consistently allow me to pull off some insane stuff with the deck as I can often cast Tilling Treefolk for one mana which is totally nuts. I love casting two bosks in one turn for 3 mana, and then getting out a Wickerbough Elder and his ability for 3 total mana the next turn.

Dropping Jaddi might be useful, she's only there to help counteract life loss from Street Wraith which is now unnecessary because in the latest version of this deck I have dropped the wraiths. They caused a lot of unnecessary life loss without much benefit and unearth doesn't work on them. I also stopped using Weed-Pruner Poplar because he was so expensive and very susceptible to lightning but you're right, once there's a few of them out they can become really useful. Since this deck is built for kitchen table magic I'm not going to have a sideboard, but if I did it would definitely have weed pruners in it :)

Apparently, if I can pick up a Weed-Pruner Poplar, Ill have all 3 cards with the word "weed" in their titles....

Argothian Treefolk, Ebony Treefolk, Everbark Shaman, Heartwood Treefolk, Sheltering Ancient, Weed-Pruner Poplar are all less useful than having an adequate mana base.

if you have the mana base then you can remove Exploration, Gaea's Touch, and Hidden Ancients in favour or Gyre Sage and Oracle of Mul Daya

I love obscure tribal decks, but I feel like you could do better with some of the Treefolk - Battlewand Oak and Cloudcrown Oak, and to a lesser extent Black Poplar Shaman and Weed-Pruner Poplar, seem underwhelming. I'm not saying they're bad in a tribal deck that produces gobs of mana, but there's a couple more powerful treefolk I'd recommend putting in instead. Nemata, Grove Guardian, Ghoultree, Fendeep Summoner, Weatherseed Treefolk, and Ebony Treefolk would all be worth consideration. You could also cut some of the noncreatures to add these to increase the chances of Colfenor proccing. Finally, I really think your deck needs boardwipe of some kind - it's a necessity in Commander to have at least one or two outs in case someone is doing something more ridiculous than you are. Languish is good because it's somewhat one-sided for you, but you probably want something like Life's Finale and/or Nevinyrral's Disk as well. +1 from me!

Well for starters there should be an Assault Formation in this deck. You can't always count on your commander coming through for you since he is a big removal target.

Other cards you could consider are Wall of Shards, Black Oak of Odunos, Wakestone Gargoyle, Slagwurm Armor, Tower Defense, Solidarity, Shape the Sands, Jaddi Offshoot, Sylvan Caryatid, and Tree of Redemption.

Cards you could cut are as follows Cloudcrown Oak, Oakgnarl Warrior, Oaken Brawler, Weed-Pruner Poplar, Sentry Oak, Kami of Old Stone, Undying Evil, Aspect of Mongoose
