It's a bit irresponsible but I usually tap out to cast syr carah so giving her haste to ping is fine but I usually won't be able to cast whatever I impulse draw that turn. The play pattern is usually ramp into Syr Carah, the Bold then on the next turn tap or attack with her to impulse draw chaining 4 mana worth of burn spells till I impulse draw a land.

Ward of Bones and Smoke are excellent recs. HOWEVER. this deck is full on Johnny. all spells must make mana or card advantage and or be a damage dealing instant or sorcery, which with Syr Carah, the Bold is card advantage. except I guess for Wild Magic Surge and Chaos Warp just because I'm not completely irresponsible...

I changed the lands as per SufferFromEDHD recs. Do I have enough Mountains? we shall see...

Gamble? yeah. worst case scenario I find Volcanic Spray and put it into the graveyard. Best case I get Repercussion or a needed interaction in hand. It's not like I can discard combo pieces in this deck so it is card advantage or at least a one mana chance at card advantage.

Love this idea and deck!

How about Thunderclap or Fireblast x2 in place of 2 of your Burning Salvos? There is also Mine Collapse.

Thoughts on Light Up the Stage?

Not sure if you're looking for a little graveyard recursion in reusing spells, but thoughts on Faithless Looting, Volcanic Spray, and Firecat Blitz? Faithless usually helps with any gas issues--same goes with Burning Inquiry if you you're looking to go through the deck. I run those in my mono-red deck but utilize a lot of flashback. Your deck is more straight burn, but figured I toss those ideas out there! Again, awesome deck--cheers!

I like how Chandra can power through a fair bit of life when you get her out, really high ceiling on that. I run Ball Lightning in my Legacy deck, but it sounds like you do multiplayer? If so, I wonder if you should run more 1 or 2 mana spells that burn each opponent and their creatures (or without flying in some cases), something like End the Festivities alongside cards similar to Kessig Flamebreather to work with Torbran. I also like Thermo-Alchemist in multiplayer, and Volcanic Spray is really fun with Torbran. Just a few thoughts!

I really like the deck. Dinosaurs are by far my top fave tribe. Zacama was someone I thought about making my commander, but I just never did.

Ask for spells; some good enrage enablers are Pyrohemia, Raging Regisaur, and Raging Swordtooth. Some other spells would be Desert Sandstorm, Fiery Confluence, Hurly-Burly, Rain of Embers, Rain of Blades, Shake the Foundations, Seismic Shudder, Volcanic Spray, or Tremor.

If you want to have a lot of fun with enrage, give your creatures indestructable and go to town. Vivien Reid, Dauntless Escort, Elspeth, Knight-Errant, Gideon's Phalanx, Make a Stand, Rootborn Defenses, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Boros Charm, Heroic Intervention, and Soul of New Phyrexia.

Some other good dinosaurs you might want to think about running are Runic Armasaur and Gigantosaurus from M19. Territorial Allosaurus is okay if you are having issues with getting on the field.

I personally have a Gishath deck: Ixalan Park (#1 Gishath Commander) V.2.0

I didn't go the full blown enrage mode, but I might give that a try. Hope my suggestions helped.

Bxbx : Very useful inputs, thanks a lot :D You are absolutely right, i am going with the enrage theme and hopefully we will get a big load of new dinos with enrage in January when we return to Ixalan :)

Shaman en-Kor: Seems to have potential, but i am a bit concerned that it wont stay on board long enough before its removed or has given any use, with the number of enrage dinosaurs yet. But will definetely get a place on my maybeboard and be playtested.

Breath of Darigaaz: Also a possibility, but i kinda prefer Tremor & Volcanic Spray myself.

Warstorm Surge: Will definetly find my old copy in my box, didnt even consider it being able to trigger enrage :)

Fungusaur: I decided to switch it out with Rite of Passage, for me it seems like an enchantment that gives the exact same ability to every dinosaur is better, and it costs less and harder to remove :)

Desert & Arena : How did i not think of Desert? Its an easy enrage enabler, once they are strong enough, sadly its in the end of combat, but still a good utility land. Arena

I agree with cutting Dinosaur Stampede was actually an add from looking up most used cards for this deck from EDHREC.com :) I think you are right with the Haste enablers, its not really needed when it is Gishath job to put dinosaurs in when attackers have already been declared. So Samut, Voice of Dissent might get kicked out as well.

Mayael's Aria is really a card most would kick out, but for some reason i want to keep it in, even though in my own testing with a 80 card build it has never been useful. so it might get the kick soon, sadly :p.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions, you Rock Bxbx

I would say take out Ash Zealot because it just doesn't fit that well. You could also then add some more cards with unearth or flashback, because that would be better for the quick damage. Also, if you like the X casting cost damage spells, why not try Heat Ray? Or maybe Volcanic Spray?
