PauperPundit You could certainly build a dimir tempo deck based on this list, but if you swap out many cards it becomes a different deck entirely. Spell Pierce targets a different class of cards than Unmake does.

This deck, as is, concentrates on removing our opponents creatures while swinging early and swinging hard. For this to work, we have to bring bodies on the field and go aggressive. For your cantrips you need some consistent blue sources, which would make Sign in Blood and Defile difficult to run, both of which I consider core elements of this deck (I removed white from the original Orzhov Value City just so defile is great). They would also consume a considerable amount of our early game mana without bringing our opponents life total to zero.

That being said, I encourage you to experiment and make your own experiences, maybe you can make Esper Stormblade work, I've got to admit that it's a very neat card.

I'll update this deck to what it currently is in my deckbox, the Vizkopa Vampires worked worse than I hoped they'd do.

Karlov of the Ghost Council is an INSANE card for a deck like this when you combo it with ajani. its pricey, but kicks major ass. I'd look into cheaper dual lands like Caves of Koilos and Temple of Silence . They both work pretty well for me

Vizkopa Guildmage huge in decks like this. I might consider replacing some Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord with Sorin, Lord of Innistrad for the vampire and life gain theme.

Kaya's Guile and Mortify are super strong here too. perhaps consider ditching Vampire of the Dire Moon and Vizkopa Vampire for Gifted Aetherborn or Vampire Nighthawk since those 1 drops are easy targets for cheap removal.

Rhox Faithmender , Cradle of Vitality and Dawn of Hope all great additions as well

Alseid of Life's Bounty would make a better replacement for you than Court Cleric since he can double as protection for a more important creature (like your Vito). Especially since you're not even running an Ajani walker for his extra +1/+1

I also like Vampire of the Dire Moon instead of Banehound. Haste on a 1/1 isn't really a huge deal, and having a Deathtouch option in addition to their Lifelink means they can double as genuinely threatening blockers still (unlike the hound).

Finally,Speaker of the Heavens would probably suit you a lot better than Hunted Witness and Vizkopa Vampire

Hopefully these suggestions help you along a little bit. None of them are particularly costly to order singles of either (since that's a big consideration for my own decks).

OberstHati Currently this is the deck. I’ve been testing it on MTG Arena and I’ve been slowly tweaking it. I want to buy this deck in Real life for standard but am looking for some suggestions. A few things I did today was remove Teysa Karlov , Resplendent Angel and Vizkopa Vampire . Looking for more suggestions on how to make the deck better. I will update the deck tonight with my changes made today as well.

Viscera Seer is a staple free sac outlet that this deck is going to want, the scry is honestly gravy.

At quick glance I see some cards that aren't doing much to advance your commander's strategy: Vizkopa Vampire is kind of vanilla here, Doomed Traveler gives you something upon termination and thus something for you commander to double up on. These are the effects you want to stack in your deck, Edge of the Divinity really isn't doing much here as a creature enchantment in a deck where you want your creatures to die probably isn't sticking around and you aren't likely to win with commander damage, True Conviction , while a high CMC gives all of your forces [big beater and tiny token alike] a buff.

A land you may want to consider is Vault of the Archangel as I noticed you seem to like your lifelink.

Sol Ring is the most played card in commander and should have a home in this deck. Your mana curve isn't outrageous so you should safely be able to go down to 37-38 lands but I'd replace that with more artifact ramp: Orzhov Signet , Mind Stone , Coldsteel Heart , Wayfarer's Bauble and for the X2 death trigger... Burnished Hart .

Blood-Cursed Knight Drana's Emissary Tithe Drinker Could allow some real nice combos or maybe just a basic Vizkopa Vampire could cut some cost and allow more aggro/life link.

PTsmitty on MTG Arena: Which Limited Deck?

I am usually pretty good at figuring out which colors I should go with when assessing a limited pool, but this group of cards has me a bit puzzled. I have created 3 deck ideas and was wondering if you all could help me with determining which one would be the best option.

Temur Deck running 17 lands
The idea with this deck is to play bigger 4-6 drop threats and us the adapt mechanic along with the Bolrac-Clan Crusher to remove the counters and use them for direct damage. This deck is running the following guildgates for the colossus and mana fixing: x2 Radkos, x2 Gruul, x1 Simic, x1 Gateway Plaza. My concern with this deck is that I can get overwhelmed fast and not be able to catch back up.

Radkos #1 running 17 lands
Move into a Radkos build so I can more consistently use Theater of Horrors when I draw it. This may also allow me to use Skewer the Critics for the spectacle cost more often. I have x3 Goblin Gathering , but worried that this card is not going to be what I am hoping it to be. I kept the radkos GG, gruul GG, and gateway plaze in to allow for me to run the colossus still. Should I take out Flames of the Raze-Boar out of this build since I only have the colossus that is true 4 powered creature?

Radkos #2 running 16 lands
I dropped the colossus, but I am still running x2 Radkos guildgates. I added Ill-Gotten Inheritance , Orzhov Racketeers , and Vizkopa Vampire in place of the Colossus, x1 land, and Flames of the Raze-Boar .

I am thinking that the temur deck will be more interactive and has the bigger creature threats, but the radkos builds will provide me with more consistency. I wish there was a way I could try these two decks out first before starting the tournament...lol. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
