Peach Garden Oath , Festival of Trokin ' Harmony of Nature ' Toil to Renown will help your life-gain efforts...id also have recommended Marshaling the Troops but it isnt budget friendly.
landofMordor on Which Budget Deck should I …

I agree that Gonti could be made pretty good with cards like Conjurer's Closet and Tempt with Immortality and the like, with the rest of the deck consisting of mana production and control to fuel the Gonti combo.
I also think Oyiva could be a sweet commander for a token theme, but I suggest that a way to make that deck more unique could be to theme it around the artifacts Oyiva produces. Cards like Chief of the Foundry, Myr Battlesphere, Darksteel Forge, Ezuri's Brigade, Toil to Renown, and Lodestone Myr help make this happen, but there are lots of uses for the other green cards suggested above. It's just that running a heavy artifact subtheme gives you a little more synergy than "annihilate opponent with buku tokens", and synergy is key to making a budget EDH deck that's fun to pilot.
Lastly, kudos to you on your deck ideas! Building decks on a budget really takes your deckbuilding skill to the next level, so I'm impressed that you're challenging yourself like that. Keep up the good work and mention me if I can be of any more help.

"Tapped" modifies "artifacts," "creatures," and "lands." Toil to Renown only counts the number of tapped permanents of each of those kinds; it does not count untapped anything.

2 Life. Because all you have tapped is the two lands you used to pay for Toil to Renown.
If you had Omniscience out, or some way of casting it for free and all your permanents were untapped, you would just gain 0 life because it sees nothing tapped.

So I am working on a modern janky brew, and I found this card on gatherer. The wording will really dictate whether or not it is something that I consider.
Basically, do the creatures and lands I control need to be tapped for me to gain the life, or is it just tapped artifacts?

Sideboard possibilities::: Take out Gravity Well you have a card that destroys all flying..., Praetor's Counsel I do not think its needed..., Toil to Renown its sorcery speed and ehhh..., Elvish Piper she will be drowning in mana so casting a creature wont be a problem..., Essence Warden you have other life gain in the sideboard...
