Hi, I mean this in the most constructive way:

i think that I know of some lands that may help you ramp in case you want to:

These can serve as ramp in a pinch (except for sandstone, which dies in 2 usages).

Do you really need Crucible of Fire? It seems that dragons are already powerful on their own and that these slots could be used for something else.

There is also a land that I think may help you more, which is Ghitu Encampment. The first strike 2/1 can be more versatile. The utility lands you chose seem to be more dedicated to offense, but that's not always going to be the case.

Tears of Valakut can also only target flying threats... wouldnt it be better to have something that kills a wider range of creatures? Like Dead / Gone, maybe? Or Fire Prophecy, which may allow you to "cycle" an unwanted card.

And in case you are in a pinch, maybe use a card like Pyroclasm or Sweltering Suns (and I just noticed it may help activate the Dragon Eggs).

Idk about the price, but the "spell lands" also seem a bit helpful: Spikefield Hazard  Flip, Valakut Awakening  Flip.

Sarkhan, Fireblood, Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker and Sarkhan, Dragonsoul also seem interesting... Sarkhan's Triumph too.

There are too many Dragon-related cards to choose from @_@

also, maybe try cutting the deck down to 60, it'll make it more consistent (22 lands for 70 cards isn't enough)...

If you could manage to use only odd-cost cards, could even use Obosh, the Preypiercer as a companion

My main suggestion would just be to look for versions of your cards that do similar things for less mana. For instance, Soul Sear could probably be Lightning Bolt , Blazing Salvo , Mizzium Mortars , Thundering Rebuke , Roast , or Tears of Valakut if you're expecting flyers. Similarly, Dissolve and Ionize might be better as Spell Pierce , Counterspell , Hindering Light , Izzet Charm , Mana Leak , etc. depending on what you need to counter when.

The only other card I'll suggest (and I admit that it's a pet card of mine so I might be biased) is Myth Realized . It triggers prowess itself, grows from the same triggers as prowess, provides a mana sink in the late game, and is a creature that can conveniently dodge your own boardwipes whether they be Pyroclasm , Evacuation , or Wrath of God .

If you are against flyers, then gruul colors has plenty of "hurricane" effects. Gruul Charm, Heaven,Tears of Valakut, Kraul Harpooner, Take DownAerial VolleyCollision / ColossusBow of NyleaNylea's Intervention

Unfortunately no, that won't work. Tears of Valakut 's ability only protects it from effects that specifically say "counter target spell" or something similar. The hexproof ability on Soul of the Rapids means you're not allowed to target it with spells and abilities. In this example you won't be able to cast Tears of Valakut targeting Soul of the Rapids in the first place.

Under normal circumstances would Tears of Valakut destroy Soul of the Rapids ? They directly counterdict each other with soul of the rapids being Hexproof and tears of Valakut saying it can’t be countered by spells or abilities. Any input would be appreciated. Mtg can be so frustrating sometimes for a newbie. Lol

dzanon,
Love the wolves, so a big +1 for giving them a go!

Wolves are traditionally very weak to Flyers so depending on your meta, you may want to add some flyerhate in the sideboard. I like Plummet but Clip Wings, Tears of Valakut, or Take Down might be better for yours. Or Aim High/Vines of the Recluse, which is probably my favorite combat trick ever.

You might want to stop by the All Things Wolven thread too.

Draw well!

Om3gaOm3n,
You bet!

I was thinking about this some more though, and I realized I forgot to mention anything about flyerhate. Wolves are notoriously weak to flyers, and now that Temur Midrange (featuring both pesky Thopters and brutal Glorybringers) has become a HUGE part of many metas, it's a real weakness for the deck. There are lots of good ways to answer a Turn 4 Glorybringer, but I personally like Tears of Valakut and Plummet. Or maybe Vines of the Recluse/Aim High ... they're probably my favorite combat tricks ever, but require a creature on board with at least 3 toughness (so it can survive the 4 damage if he Exerts).

As always, draw well!

EAGLExCORe,
Some possible sideboard tech: Release the Gremlins or By Force for Artifacts; Burn from Within for Planeswalkers and Gods (plus that last bit of damage to the face), and Tears of Valakut for big Flyers. Maybe Expedite if you want to go just a little bit faster.
