Sutured Ghoul Discussion

MrLizard on What is dead may never die

So, Some cute tricks, I did a playtest and really enjoyed morality shift, swapping my deck and burning opponents for 26. Not quite enough to get me there. I had hoped to flashback dread return off the zombies I had made, but I found out too late it wasn't in the deck. So I recommend Dread Return and Sutured Ghoul . That should win the game pretty easily. I would also suggest Gravepurge over return from extinction. and since you have the option, I've always liked Empty the Pits as a finisher, but in this deck it could kill without even attacking with the zombies.

Agree with the above except I think Lim-Dul's can stay and I'd take out another land instead. Ghalta, Sultai Charm, and Journey to Eternity I think are also mediocre but I assume you're testing them out. Lord of Extinction and Sutured Ghoul are the other big fatties which you could look at.

I'vs found great success with cards like Mortivore and Sewer Nemesis that get bigger the more you mill, and mill more the bigger they are. Obviously, you already have the best one in Consuming Aberration.

Sutured Ghoul could be a pretty good late game finish by exiling all the dead defender creatures.

I just wanted to check a rule.

If I sacrifice a Tarmogoyf to my Dracoplasm, will the Dracoplasm's power and toughness change as my graveyard fills?

I know that the similarly-worded Sutured Ghoul DOES change, but it seems to remain linked to the card in exile, which would allow this to occur.

Thanks appreciate it, I like the idea of Patriarch's Bidding since it would bring everything of mine back but could backfire since most decks are themed that I run into. You are more than welcome to take a look at my other decks since i'm just starting putting my decks on here. I already have two cards that I want to take out which is Dimir Charm and Visions of Brutality. Maybe's that I would take out is Sutured Ghoul and Royal Assassin

Call to the Netherworld would be a decent card to combo with Cryptbreaker's ability, and it's still a good card on its own since it only costs one mana.Sutured Ghoul is good as well, especially in those longer games.
