Conversely, it actually could find a Super-Duper Death Ray, though that's an acorn/silver-bordered card, so isn't legal in basically any format.

A side comment: Silver-bordered "Un" sets are meant to play around with things that the regular game of MtG can't do, but sometimes a card or mechanic will inspire a designer to realize it actually can be done. The development of Host/Augment helping to inspire the development of Mutate is probably the #1 example. Single card examples like Super-Duper Death Ray -> Flame Spill and The Cheese Stands Alone -> Barren Glory also exist.

What's the difference between Flame Spill and Super-Duper Death Ray? It seems like they shouldn't have different wording, because it looks like they do the exact same thing. Even the rarity and card type is the same.

"That's it. That's what these guys do. It's all about combat."

This highights the problem I have with evergreen abilities - they affect creatures only. None that affect enchantments or sorceries/instants (Super-Duper Death Ray not included - and why isn't it?). I do not like that while reducing complexity, they are only helping 1 card type.

Wizards needs to develop some non-combat keywords too.

With you're description I'm not sure you fully understand how Baron Von Count works. He doesn't care what their converted mana cost is. All he cares about are the numerals printed on the card. For example Nirkana Cutthroat has 1,2,3,4,5 printed somewhere on the card. So no matter where the counter is on the Baron it would go down one. Shriekmaw only has 1,2,3,4 printed on it. Also be careful as the Planeswalker starting count does NOT count as it is not within what Baron looks at. For example Sorin Markov only has 1,2,3 printed on it, and the 4 does not count (yes the numeral 1 counts from the printed "life total becomes 10").

You have a lot of Un-cards that don't really help Baron. If you're just looking to play the cards then they are fine to keep in. You also have a few ok cards in the deck that also only provide a few numbers for the Baron.

I've tried building my own deck Count from 5. I've also compiled a spreadsheet to help me add cards to my deck counting the numbers 1,2,3,4,5 on different cards: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1i77tFtrQXR7FkVuaYcrp-ICaJS_BUzCfbnI6TfwYXTo/edit?usp=sharing
