i think Open the Armory , Steelshaper's Gift , Magnetic Theft could help. being able to abuse sunforger and helps. could also add a Darksteel Mutation so open the armory could get you some removal for problematic commanders.

Both Chandra's Ignition and Fell the Mighty are on theme board wipes to consider also.

Fall of the Hammer and Reckless Rage could be an awesome removal spell if you need it.

If you do add some equips Strength of Arms would be good to give you some more tokens. Kind of slow but Loyal Apprentice gives you one every turn. Not much but might be useful

I was not a fan of Balduvian Rage since you have to attack.

Looks like fun! I assume you're operating on a budget?

Consider some cheap dual lands like Blossoming Sands or Selesnya Guildgate to help make sure you have the colors you need when you need them. A step up from those without spending too much money would be Sunpetal Grove , Canopy Vista , and/or Fortified Village . If you wanted to go nuts you could look at Windswept Heath , Temple Garden , and Cavern of Souls .

Maybe look into Blossoming Defense or Heroic Intervention to replace Woodcutter's Grit , Strength of Arms , and/or Cloudshift .

The front side of Mayor of Avabruck  Flip buffs your dudes, and the back side provides you with more bodies when you need them. Champion of the Parish is of course nuts in a deck like this, but it is a little expensive.

There's plenty of other changes you could make to make the deck stronger, but that's where I would start. Whatever you decide to do, good luck and have fun!

I think there are a couple of different directions to go with this deck. The main ones I've come across in my brewing are:

  • Storm/Guttersnipe
  • Blink
  • Tokens/Zada
  • Voltron
Obviously you can do combinations of these, but I think the more focused the deck is on one of them the better. I personally have settled on a primarily Token/Zada strategy with a Blink subtheme because it seems the most unique, fun, and interactive to me.

I wrote a bit of a explanation of the inclusions in my brew if you're interested.

Tokens of a Feather, spellsling together

Here are some cool things I found:

Akroan Conscriptor , Mirrorwing Dragon , Vanguard of Brimaz , Strength of Arms , Divergent Transformations , Indomitable Creativity

PhotogenicParasympathetic,
Mine is Winterflame, for sure.

Deco_y and Gleeock,
I'm with y'all on Gift of Orzhova and Commander's Authority ... they're not my favorites but they're way up there.

Deco_y,
Thalia's in Strength of Arms ... is that maybe what you meant?

I've been trying to break Zada, Hedron Grinder since she was first spoiled. Same with Mirrorwing Dragon. And though I've seen and played a bunch of REALLY fun brews, I've yet to see one that's competitive.

That's where I'm hoping y'all can help: Please share your ideas and brews!

Here are the known playable archetypes:

  • Blink: Abuse Blink effects (Essence Flux, especially) and ETB Creatures
  • Clues/Artifacts: Investigate effects (Confront the Unknown, especially) and Artifacts-matter cards
  • Counters: +1/+1 Counter effects and Counters-matter cards (multiple cards ... IMO this is the strongest archetype so far)
  • Energy: Energy counters and Energy-matters cards
  • Prowess: Prowess made better with Zada/Mirrorwing
  • Tokens: Token-maker effects ( Silverfur Partisan , especially ... though Strength of Arms may actually be better)
  • Something else entirely?

And here are some earlier threads: Solving Mirrorwing and Solving Mirrorwing: The Sequel.

With both Zada and Mirrorwing rotating out of Standard in September, we don't have much time. Thanks in advance for your help!

Strength of Arms is quite good for buffing your creatures.

Mikaeus, the Lunarch also helps.

Mother of Runes provides some good protection.

To make the deck faster, you could add another 2-drop (e.g. Hamlet Captain or if you can afford it Duskwatch Recruiter  Flip ) and some more combat tricks or removal (e.g. Blessed Alliance, Aim High, Repel the Abominable, Strength of Arms, Survive the Night, Prey Upon)

Note that you can cast Survive the Night pre combat to give all your creatures indestructible until end of turn IF Odric, Lunarch Marshal is out.

I suggest to cut Ulvenwald Mysteries, which only hekps in very long, grindy games and Neglected Heirloom  Flip despite its synergy with Avacynian Missionaries  Flip. Save it for the werewolf tribe, they have no trouble flipping it.
