Stomping Slabs does trigger Spinerock Knoll very nicely if it goes off. Two questons, though: What in this deck would you hide under Spinerock Knoll? Using the cards you want to have in this deck, how reliably can you ensure Stomping Slabs goes off? I would recommend saving that combo for another deck built specifically around the combo.

While I'm thinking about it, Assault Strobe would be another good addition to this deck. I'm going to slow down on the specific recommendations; this is your deck, after all.

No, when an ability references the card it is on by name it means "the card that this ability is on" it can not do anything to other cards with the same name and will affect the card it is on even if the card has a different name.

If an ability wants to reference any card with a specific name it says "a card named" like Stomping Slabs does.
