Might I suggest Syrix, Carrier of the Flame? It's a super-weird commander that simply durdles turns away, but neatly combines aristocrat-, discard- and die/leave grave strategies. And nobody sees coming how ridonkulous Skyfire Phoenix is in there. Oh, and infect is totally doable. Just put Glistening Oil or anyof the other infect-granting effects on Sy or one of yourpingers. In case you're interested, there's a Syrix list on my profile. The list hasb't been updated for a little while, but you get the basic ideas.

I'm not sure how exactly Quin plays yet, but I'm trying to come up with something with him too so I'll throw some cards I thought were interesting at you. Sentinel's Eyes seems decent, with Quin out it gives you two 3/2s for , which is pretty good. Battle Screech is just a generally strong tokens card so it fits with the token support, but also gives you a 3/2 (for free!). Same with Increasing Devotion , although thats definitely a lower power level just because of the mana cost. Prismatic Strands / Rally the Peasants are both also pretty strong cards that also will just throw in a 3/2 with Quin.

You have quite a few humans, so maybe throw in Bruna, the Fading Light  Flip, and if you want to meld, Gisela, the Broken Blade ? Bruna's solid on her own, but I might just be biased because I love meld. Angel of Glory's Rise too, depending on how many humans you end up with. You could also play things like Resurrection and Breath of Life , or even Gate to the Afterlife / God-Pharaoh's Gift . Angelic Renewal goes infinite with Sun Titan and a sac outlet, which you should probably have at least one more of. Ashnod's Altar is the go too, but I think its pretty expensive nowadays, so maybe Blasting Station , Dark-Dweller Oracle , or Grafted Exoskeleton

A bunch of the phoenixes seem decent, since they always return. I think the best ones would be Flamewake Phoenix , Rekindling Phoenix , and Skyfire Phoenix . Flamewake seems great since with Quin your spirits activate ferocious, the others I'd be more skeptical about.

Well I hope that's at least somewhat helpful lol

I think a life-oriented phoenix is the best option, Garza's Assassin is the most similar, but I think red can flavorfully spend life like that, also if a Phoenix costs life to come back, I think it makes sense that it has other life-related abilities:

Bloodflame Phoenix

Creature - Phoenix

Flying, Lifelink

, Pay half your life, rounded up: Return Bloodflame Phoenix from your graveyard to the battlefield. Activate this ability only during your upkeep.

3/3

I'd like to see another Phoenix, but neither a phoenix lord or a repeated method of return.

Hey, Worldgorger would make your deck unfair. Without it you could still play reanimation, but fair reanimation. There's nothing wrong with fair reanimation it can still be powerful and fast, it will just take longer to win a game. The upgrade would be to reanimate better budget creatures and add support creatures/other cards that can help reanimation. Reanimation would be one of the most simple of upgrades you could make by replacing subpar creatures with better ones to reanimate and subpar cards that only belong in a precon with better ones.

An example is Vilis, Broker of Blood. Powerful budget creature who you want to reanimate and who's busted with Krrik's Phyrexian mana ability. Could replace Soul of Innistrad with Vilis.

Glint-Horn Buccaneer can be an unfair creature with combos or just a fair creature who can repeatedly hurt your opponents, but not kill the table. Buccaneer is good with wheels because wheels make you discard all the cards in your hand which can be a lot. Repeatable wheels can really do a lot of damage to your opponents with Buccaneer. Wheels are good with reanimation. Could replace Scaretiller with Buccaneer.

Dragon Mage is an upgrade of a big creature to reanimate who can be a repeatable wheel. Chainer, Nightmare Adept is good with repeatable reanimation with Doomed and Apprentice Necromancers. Chainer is also amazing with Magus of the Wheel who can be a repeatable wheel effect. Could replace Boneyard Parley with Mage. If not playing Worldgorger then Bloodhall Priest is lackluster esspecially with wheels. Could replace Priest with Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion, who can be another repeatable wheel effect.

Anger is very good when you have a consistent way to discard it, since giving reanimated creatures haste makes them so much better. Could replace Skyfire Phoenix with Anger.

These are just a few examples of upgrades to expand on reanimation.

I've been wondering if there are commanders that want Skyfire Phoenix , as it seems like a fun card but not one that most commanders actually can use effectively. At least until we get a phoenix commander.
