I did read your post over there, and that's what brought me here. Actually, I think you can make this work, but I would do some work to protect yourself, like the 2 cards I mentioned, and maybe have fewer lands and more mana rocks. Make sure that when you lock the board down, you still have ways to interact. Apparently I didn't read Ruination well enough. Maybe Darksteel Forge to protect your mana rocks? Cards like Fire Diamond, Iron Myr, Sisters of the Flame, Heart of Ramos, etc. would prevent you from needing to play a lot of lands. However you adjust your strategy, make sure that you can mitigate your own damage while maximizing how hard you hit your opponents. Good luck!

SteelSentry except that red DOES have mana dorks, just not as many as green does. They either cost a lot more like Sisters of the Flame or have restrictions where you can use the mana like Smokebraider or Chandra's Embercat and since Jegantha restricts how you can use the mana, it does follow red's version of mana dorks.

There are effects, without adding to the color pie, that don't exist in the game but possibly should. For example, my meta has a LOT of graveyard strategy decks (coincidentally this is a strategy that blue, green, and black do well while white and black don't do so well) and I wanted to create effects in a deck that punish graveyard decks without shutting them down entirely.

I was disappointed that in all my searching, Ash Zealot was the only card I could find that punished my opponents for using their graveyard as a resource. So one way to make red at least more viable in commander would be to create a card that said something like "if a card would leave your opponent's graveyard, and it wasn't shuffled into his or her library, that player takes 1 damage" This is completely in flavor for red to say you can still do it, but it's going to hurt if you do while giving them a really powerful tool in commander. Ideally I would like to see this kind of graveyard hate tacked onto a Boros legendary so it can sit in the command zone and then come out once those deck types try to get that engine running.

Additionally there are effects that exist, but wizards has been reluctant to print more of, that could make the two colors more viable. Cards like Alms Collector and Land Tax in white (or really any plains tutor) and cards like Sisters of the Flame in red that could really help those colors in commander. Put them into the precons so they don't mess up standard if you have to, or into supplementary products like Battlebond. But little things like that would make a pretty big difference.

A lot of those cards ARE NOT PAUPER LEGAL.. for example:

False Demise Eternal Warrior Sisters of the Flame

And many many more. Been printed as common once dont always made a card legal on pauper, it has to been printed as common on mtgo.

A lot of good common paper card are not pauper legal ( most important are sinkhole - Hymn to Tourach - High Tide - Mystic Remora - Goblin Grenade - Forked Bolt - Darkness - Ashnod's Altar )

And otherwise a lot of good pauper card are not legal on paper but just on mtgo. ;)

First and foremost you need to change out Hedron Crawler and put in Sisters of the Flame! Also suggestions to take out: Goblin Sharpshooter, great card and fun but easily removed before he does his work, Goblinslide, I've never really seen you or anyone else pay for it and games end too fast for you to "waste" mana on it, last suggestion, Altar of the Brood, has this won a game for you? The Eldrazi Legends and other cards make this hard to do sometimes, it does get the hate though. Hope this helps because I love Furystoke Giant.

I noticed looking at a few cards just how dated some of the art looks. What looked cool 20 years ago now looks like it belongs in a grainy 4:3 music video or a nostalgia show. Here are two examples:

Counterspell The leotard and hair clip remind me of the music video for "Let's get physical".

Sisters of the Flame I haven't seen that much hairspray since a ZZ Topp concert I went to in high school.

Anybody got other examples?
