I think Ojutai, Soul of Winter Would be amazing in this type of deck. If you need ways to speed it up, try Sol Ring and possibly Thran Dynamo, Ojutai Monument, and Silumgar Monument.

Silumgar, the Drifting Death has hexproof, so you can use him to give your commander hexproof if he's facing spot removal. He also annihilates token armies, and synergises well with your other dragons.

Teneb, the Harvester allows to to resurrect whatever dragon you want from your graveyard as Scion keeps chucking them there. Or your opponent's creatures, if they have something good.

Utvara Hellkite will constantly churn out hordes of dragons for you that will end games very quickly. Even if you dump him in your graveyard for a turn with one other dragon on the battlefield, you now have an additional 12/12 flying in stats on the board.

I'm actually kind of shocked you're not running Crux of Fate. It's cheap, it's a boardwipe, and you'll be completely unaffected by it. A must-include.

Dragon Tempest is a great, cheap enchantment to slap on the board as you're building up your mana base and preparing to play.

Balefire Dragon is incredible, especially as a one-sided boardwipe that can appear out of nowhere with the Scion.

Steel Hellkite is a hard counter to token strategies and is generally a source of endless pain for your opponents.

Dragonlord Dromoka is the dragon version of Grand Abolisher. Powerful, and the high power lifelink is only better.

Savage Ventmaw accelerates your mana and repays itself over several turns.

I would love to see you post a description of all the combos and interactions this deck has, because I don't want to suggest removing a card that's part of a combo I don't know about.

But I would say to remove Heroes' Reunion, Naturalize, Ravenous Trap, Wrecking Ball, Cruel Edict, Oblivion Strike, Bloodstone Cameo, Omen Machine and Silumgar Monument.

How about a faster win condition than Elixir of Immortality that is not a creature like Silumgar Monument:

Nephalia Drownyard

That way you dont waste any deck slots on a win condition. Id also recommend removing card disadvantage like Disperse for permanent answers.

Thats a whole lot of useful advice, thanks! Made the following changes:

-Silumgar Monument + Burnished HartThe Monument wasnt terribly thematic, and I doubt I would find myself converting it into a dragon very often. I kicked myself when I saw this b/c I totally forgot about Burnished Hart.

-sphinx's tutalage +Bloodchief Ascension This is the the best news I could have asked for. This card singehandedly makes Phenax lethal. :D I did choose to keep Copy Enchantment so that I could Duplicate this and double the damage output.

-Dimir Guildgate +Myriad LandscapeWhile it damages my Dimir theme to not have this, the ability to tutor for a pair of lands is just too good to pass up.

-Quicksilver Gargantuan +Eater of the DeadLike Bloodchief Ascension (above), this guy is just too good for Phanax to not use. I traded an expensive Doppleganger for him.

-Braingeyser +Mystic Confluence-Mind Spring +Blue Sun's ZenithJust yes...

-Clone Legion +Liliana Vess...I didnt want to include a planeswalker, but she does all of the things that I need done. :/

I feel like You might have something where the Titans are concerned, but I already have several excellent Themed Kill-Shots among my Creatures; some of which are a bit subtle. ;)

The Sire of Stagnation Duplicates very well, and combined with Phenax, God of Deception they deliver 7 Mill/each and make Landfall both painful for my enemies and profotable for me. Consuming Aberration is an excellent target for Cloning, and can potentially Mill an opponent to death in a single shot in the Midgame using Phenax!

he fact Dopplegangers clone the creature being cloned means that I dont even need to keep the original around... :D

I am keeping Nighthowler as a way to grossly amplify the Power of a creature, and because I need a few Cheaper Creatures for early game. The joy of old Nighthowler is that He can also be Cloned... ;)

The Dimir Guildmage is there for Card Draw and Theme Mostly...

I didnt miss Duplicant - I do love that it is both Doppleganger and Removal. Ultimately I couldnt find a place for Him... :( I need Devotion off of my big creatures to fuel Phenax, and a 6 mana slot is a heafty cost when most of my deck is already at the 3-4 mana level.

Runeroads on Dimir Diciples of Phenax, Deception & Duplication

Let's start with mana ramp. Your rampers/fixers are:Solemn Simulacrum, Crypt Ghast, Chromatic Lantern, Commander's Sphere, Dimir Cluestone, Dimir Keyrune, Dimir Signet, Sol Ring, Thought Vessel, and Silumgar Monument. Only thing I would change would be swap one or two for a Burnished Hart and/or Pilgrim's Eye. This will fix your land, give you a creature, and help to ramp.

For lands you will want to swap Dimir Guildgate, Jwar Isle Refuge, and Dismal Backwater for one of these Myriad Landscape, Bad River, Esper Panorama, Grixis Panorama, Polluted Delta, Watery Grave, and/or Cabal Coffers. The last 3 are lands that cost above $10.
