There are some spirit cards with some nice spooky art though.
Erdwal Illuminator, Fogwalker, Rattlechains, Silent Observer, Tower Geist, Geist of the Moors, Moonlight Geist, Niblis of the Mist, Topplegeist, and Voiceless Spirit.

Looks neat, if kind of slow. If you really want to irritate people, some good cards are Kaijin of the Vanishing Touch for repeated bounces and Shriekgeist for well-costed flyers. Shriekgeist also helps with the mill sub-theme. I'd cut Silent Observer, it does way too little for 4 cmc. Lastly, it might be cool to use Geist of the Archives, but I'll leave that to you.

For Manic Scribe, I think you need a way to achieve delirium. Right now I don't see how you actively get lands or enchantments in the graveyard. Plus you have no instants and only 4 sorceries.
I get that Geist of the Lonely Vigil has flying, but with only 3 toughness it's really not going to block much and survive. Other ideas could be Tide Drifter which also pumps your skygate and scarecrow, or Silent Observer which is a little expensive but 5 toughness handles a lot of the 4 power fliers in the format.
You might also want to consider sweepers like Fumigate or Engulf the Shore. Then add 4x Prairie Stream which helps the engulf, and I think is better than port town.

I would be dumb not to take such a great suggestion! Doorkeeper and Fogwalker were only in for defense so I could have something to protect my life while I sit back and counter everything! What better defense then a creature that doesn't take combat damage?
Same with Guard Gomazoa. Defiantly better than Silent Observer and cheaper to play!
I'm gonna drop Mistfire Adept and Riverwheel Aerialists and add an extra of both Multiform Wonder and Aethersquall Ancient. Man they make an awesome combo! 3 7 drops might make the curve to steep but I don't really wanna drop my Goliath Sphinx. I don't think I'll have any problems though because I have so many other cheap creatures!
And I appreciate the suggestions more then you know! I didn't know those card existed until you told me!
I mainly focus on black, red, and white. Blue is fun to play though. People get so aggravated when they can do absolutely nothing!

I really like this deck!
Have you thought about making it BUG considering that Tree of Perdition is coming in Standard?
What about Silent Observer, Glint, or Updraft Elemental? Ukud Cobra? Graveblade Marauder?

Rasanck,
Oh, this looks fun! A big +1 from me!
Some philosophy ...
- Just like with Zada, there's three big challenges to a deck like this: (1) Finding Assault Formation; (2) keeping it on the battlefield; and (3) winning anyways when you can't do #1 or #2. Do you have enough cards for all of these?
- Also like with Zada, there are some risky-but-fun sideboarding options. Like pulling out Assault Formation entirely for Game 2, completely blanking all the Enchantment Hate your opponent just added! :-D
Some specifics, in no particular order ...
- Turn to Frog is amazing; I absolutely love that card.
- Wandering Fumarole is just great tech. I ran an Izzet Thopter deck last season and that card won me SO many games ... and it'd be even better in this deck!
- I think Thing in the Ice Flip would be HILARIOUS in this deck.
- Silent Observer, maybe?
- I'd go down one on Shape the Sands, since it's pretty much useless w/o Assault Formation. Unless maybe there's just a TON of Westvale Abbey Flip in your meta.
- I had Guardians of Meletis in early, but grew to dislike it since it can't do anything but sit there without Assault Formation
- Some equipment might be fun. Stuff like Ancient Crab + Skeleton Key , for example. Or maybe Haunted Cloak + anything.
Good luck (and good skill!) on the build!

I like the synergy of spirits you have here with Rattlechains and the flash ability. I would take out the Silent Observer as I don't see much of a use for it in this deck and its mana cost is pretty high. Shriekgeist is the main card in this deck that I really like but its not going to do much with the other cards you have. I would add Lantern of Insight so you can see whats coming next and use Shriekgeist to make sure your opponent doesn't get good draws. Since its only a 1/1, you don't need to attack with it each turn so only use it when you see that they have a good draw. Also you could take out some Islands and put in some Rogue's Passages to make Shriekgeist unblockable. Then you can make sure your opponent has no good draws and attack with your flying spirits. I like the idea for this deck, needs a bit of tweaking but I think this would be a fun deck to play!

Silent Observer needs to go. You should replace it with more Forgotten Creation or Void Shatter. Cool deck overall!
