Silver Bolt, Silent Dart, Springjaw Trap, and Scalding Cauldron are all 1mana artifacts that deal 3damage. Bolt and Cauldron have the lowest total mana requirements.

Hypothesizzle could also work, doubling as some card draw for later game.

Sonic Assault can also tap it down to allow a more aggressive turn if that final chip damage is what you need.

I see a lot of similarities between our decks. I’ll have to use Shambling Suit I see to have overlooked it. I run more counterspells, but that’s just me.

I don’t have Jace so that probably why I don run him. Instead my planeswalker of choice (besides Ugin, the Ineffable ) is Karn, the Great Creator in case an artifact I like gets exiled, I can still pull it out with minus 2 ability.

Stonecoil Serpent , Steel Overseer , Corridor Monitor , Manifold Key are all stars. Especiall Stonecoil. I like to use Witch's Oven not just because it’s a cheap 1 drop, its also a sac outlet. For example I’ll cast stonecoil early game to get my artifact count up, then I’ll sack him to recast him with more counters later on. I also use the oven to sac Corridor Monitor if I need to reuse that ETB effect for some reason.

Scalding Cauldron is an interesting card. In the Eldrain prerelease I pulled emry and this cauldron I was getting a lot of traction using it to remove just about all my opponents creatures. That’s when I realized Emry has a lot of potential as a commander.

I like the deck overall!
