Rustwing Falcon Discussion

It is cheap but I would drop some of the non-creature spells in favor of cheap creatures. Core 2019 has Rustwing Falcon and Novice Knight. Or any of the many white 2/1 creatures from various sets.

Moar Benalish Marshal

Bloodtallow Candle seems super slow because of the cost. Have you ever used it in a game?

You have 4 and 5 drop cards so you may want 25 or 26 land. Is this casual or standard? If casual, maybe consider Secluded Steppe to prevent mana screw and mana flood?

WurmMaster777, thank you for your suggestions!

Suntail Hawk is a definite no. I am already running Rustwing Falcon, which is an almost strictly better card (although the difference is rather small in this deck), and it's a card that I'm actually considering cutting from the deck.

Ethereal Armor is more interesting. I'm running enough enchantments to make it decently likely to grant a boost of more than +1, although I suspect it will often do +2/+2 at most. That said, I'm not entirely sure what to cut for it (if I even do), and how many copies to run.

I would cut down on the lands, as 26 seems a little excessive in monowhite. Invoke the Divine is good enchantment/artifact removal. Rustwing Falcon is a really good flyer and early game attacker. Militia Bugler is a great addition in any monowhite deck, as it gets you the creatures you need. Hieromancer's Cage is also good removal to have around, although I really don't know how much removal you want.

To improve suggestion quality, what's your meta like? Your meta (in case you don't know, if you do know I apologize) is the decks that you are likely to play locally in your environment.

Either way, I think this is a really nice first deck Firesong! Good luck improving the deck, and if you need any further help/suggestions feel free to ask me.
