Stay with me here, I'm only partially kidding, but some of the blue and white artifact matters creatures in unstable seem usable here. Jackknight, Riveting Rigger, and Chipper Chopper could all be printed in black border, they refer to contraptions, but don't need them to be good cards. Do-It-Yourself Seraph could be a cool payoff that could almost be printed in black border. Again, I'm just mulling ideas around while I should be working.

i use First Pick, Joyride Rigger, Midlife Upgrade and Riveting Rigger to get the contraptions. i wanted to try a lot of the new unstable mechanics and didnt want to miss out on the contraptions.
