Vigilance

6G: Monstrosity 3. (If this creature isn't monstrous, put three +1/+1 counters on it and it becomes monstrous.)

In my cube I run RG werewolves and that gives some overlap with my RW agro (Tokens). But the other advantage is my UG color pair is +1/+1 counters (Evolve and other such mechanics); this allows me to use some of the cards from Theros with Monstrous in both color pairs. Ravenous Leucrocota for example helps evolve, is a mana sink for RG to spend mana and still flip the werewolves, and last gives +1/+1 counters to play with for a card like Shapers of Nature.

I also have UB as control, it started as a Zombie tribal and I just wasn't happy with it. however I am also not liking just "control" and may change it to mill.

Shefet Dunes may be something to put in for the White based agro decks. It is a land that has proven for me to not be a dead pick and as it though doesn't fix it does allow for that deck to hit it's much needed land falls and still have a pump for latter.

looking forward to the next article.

If I make a creature monstrous, such as Ravenous Leucrocota, and then I return it to my hand, such as Unsummon, when I summon it again does it have monstrous still, or can I make it monstrous again? I'm asking because I want to use Hydra Broodmaster in a Tishana, Voice of Thunder deck to make a lot of creatures.

The deck looks pretty good, but I don't entirely agree with okolnir's suggestions.

I would cut all of the copies of Ravenous Leucrocota, Volcanic Geyser and Hardened Berserker (they just don't pull their weight enough), and up the number of copies of your big creatures (Balefire Dragon in particular). Archetype of Aggression needs to have more than one copy :)

Omnath, Locus of Mana is actually a pretty nasty card and deals a LOT of damage, but has no evasion or protection or anything. He's almost more useful for saving mana than for attacking.

I'd also consolidate a bit and move up to 4 copies of most of the cards (many cards have redundant functions here; I'd choose just one to do a job).

What kind of decks do you play against? The description doesn't tell too much about your goals with the deck, unfortunately.

I like it! You get a +1 from me.
