For consistent card draw in a green creature deck, I'd recommend Lifecrafter's Bestiary , Guardian Project and/or Beast Whisperer as relevant cards I know.

If you want something to do with lots of mana... Wolfbriar Elemental is a good one-off for that. For consistent mana-use something like a Quilled Wolf could work? I'm less sure about how to handle that aspect.

I agree; 27 lands is way too few in EDH. I generally run 37-39 plus a few pieces of ramp. I'd take out the following cards and replace them with lands:

If you like Mono- stompy, I highly recommend Omnath, Locus of Mana as your commander, as he both ramps you can grows ridiculously large with any unused mana you have.

Hope this helps! In addition, I recommend buying a preconstructed Commander deck for anywhere from $25-$50; they have some valuable cards and some pretty awesome commanders!

Quilled Wolf - Cheap if needed in the early game, nice mana sink for late game.

Kessig Cagebreakers - Though not a were/wolf the tokens can get out of hand esp when your losses accumulate.

Wolf Pack - 7/6, better than trample.

Also you may want to consider some sort of recurrence for some of your key pieces, like Eternal Witness

Well, you have the combo of Briarbridge Patrol and Tamiyo's Journal which allows you to search your deck and put a creature into play. I would add something that makes that combo worthwhile. I would also run Sylvan Advocates in place of the Quilled Wolf. I am not sure Fleeting Memories does anything for this deck. I would run some other utility like bounce, counterspells, ramp, etc. 27 land is extreme. I would drop it to 24 or 25 and also add some dual lands or man lands.

Denial048 on Does the Quilled Wolf ability …

No, it will only affect the Quilled Wolf that activated the ability.

When a card uses it's own name, it is self-referential, as in only referring to the card the ability is on.

EDIT: Thought I would add more.

It might as well say "This creature gets +4/+4 until end of turn."

TO affect all Quilled Wolfs, it would read "All creatures named Quilled Wolf get +4/+4 until end of turn."

Jenocob on Blue-Green Investigate Deck

Hey, guys, I'm really new to this game and I built an Investigate Deck. The strategy of this deck is essentially survive long enough to be able to either: pay the 15 mana cost to summon Emrakul, the Aeons Torn; use Tamiyo's Journal's effect to search for Emrakul and then summon him by chaining that sacrifice of clues to Briarbridge Patrol. But the problem is that I can't survive long enough to use either ones. The problem is when I'm facing decks with cards that can't be countered or cards that can only be blocked by a monster with a certain number of attack points or higher. It's really frustrating because I would have many human tokens on the field to defend me but I wouldn't be able to use any of them, especially if my opponent has flying. Any suggestions? Thanks
