Great deck! You should probably remove Queen's Bay Soldier, because it's basically a worse Bishop's Soldier. I do recommend adding Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle and Metallic Mimic. Whatever you do, good luck and have fun!

Congratulations on a first deck LykosMTG! Excited to see you making decks, but I do have a few recommendations.1. Make it 60 cards. There are reasons why all competitive decks are 60 cards; it's so you get the most consistency and least variance. So, here's what I suggest you remove. CUT DOWN TO 24 LANDS- REMOVE Queen's Bay Soldier - It's a trash 2/2, only reason is b/c its a vampire- REMOVE Paladin of Atonement - how are you going to lose life?- REMOVE Legion Conquistador - how does this help you? It has a trash mana ratio- REMOVE Exultant Skymarcher - poor mana ratio, other flyers are better

I'd suggest removing:- 2x Anointed Deacon: cost is too high for what it does - 1x Blight Keeper: ability cost is too high for standard - 4x Encampment Keeper: again, too high - 1x Lurking Chupacabra: not enough exploring for it to benefit - 1x Queen's Bay Soldier: much better creatures you could get for 2 drop - 1x Boneyard Parley: CMC too high, effect not that great - 1x Spreading Rot: land destruction isn't necessary - 1x Cobbled Wings: won't need this with vampires - 2x Dusk Legion Dreadnought: 5 drop vigilance, does nothing else - 2x Prying Blade: won't need the mana - 1x Raiders' Wake: will be taken out too quickly to be useful

So, this leaves you with 15 open spots. I'm assuming you want to stay in the XLN block? For additions, I'd suggest looking at cards like Adanto Vanguard, Bishop's Soldier, Gifted Aetherborn (not XLN but a great card), Sanctum Seeker, Vicious Conquistador, Yahenni, Undying Partisan, Bloodcrazed Paladin and Duskborne Skymarcher.

For removal, try things like Duress, Fatal Push, Walk the Plank, anything low cost but preemptive or quick.

Free creatures with lifelink? Always great. Try Queen's Commission and Call to the Feast. Legion's Landing also helps pump out tokens AND can give you , so feel free to add a second one.

There are a lot of options for your deck, especially if you're not staying in XLN specifically. Try some of the ones I listed above and see how it runs for you. You may be able to remove 1-2 lands after working on your creatures, which are very heavy. Aim for closer to 20. As a general rule of thumb for Standard, 5 CMC is high for any card, so keep that in mind when picking out cards. You can have one or two around 5 CMC but they have to be worth it.

Hope this helps!

Feels like it's missing Asylum Visitor - that card draw on a cheap body can be important.

I'd scrap some of the vanilla vampires, like Queen's Bay Soldier, and add in more lands. 33 feels like far too few.

Cards I would try to remove from deck because you either lack cards to support them or are just on the weak side:

Embraal Bruiser: lack of artifacts

Graceful Cat: not very strong for its mana cost

Mummy Paramount: lack of zombies to trigger effect

Ruthless Sniper: lack of cycling cards to trigger

Queen's Bay Soldier: there is a white 2 drop that is the same thing but has lifelink (Bishop's Soldier). Would use that over this.

Anointer Priest: not enough token spawning cards. Would maybe keep if you play a set of Oketra's Monument.

Liliana's Defeat: strong vs black, but best not to run cards like this in a mainboard because you never know if your match up will make use of this card from the start.

Getting more of Gifted Aetherborn would help a lot likely.

If possible you may want to also use Walk the Plank unless your friends are playing merfolks.

Hope these suggestions are helpful. Tried to make suggestions that would not brake the bank. Its a nice deck you have there for making it out of a builders kit.

Gifted Aetherborn and Bishop's Soldier hate each other. I would suggest either sideboarding Aetherborn or playing black 1's and 2's. It's just real hard to have W on turn one and still have access to BB on turn 2.

I'd suggest Vicious Conquistador and Queen’s Bay Soldier if you're dead set on leaving Aetherborn as more than a 2-of in the main board.

I think the best option is side boarding him and running Metallic Mimic in his spot. Check out this list from Craig Wescoe: Ixalan W/B Vampires
