Hub suggestions: Drop Chaos, add Turbo Fog

Card suggestions: Ethereal Haze prevents noncombat damage from creatures, if you see Grim Lavamancer or whatever. Elixir of Immortality can replace Blessed Respite , since you have a lot of Fog effects already. I would switch the Pure Intentions with two Leyline of Sanctity in the sideboard.

Solitary Confinement is most useful with Squee, Goblin Nabob , but you don't have any way to assemble that without drawing into it. Similarly, I'm not sure Peace of Mind is doing much for you here.

Leyline breaks the combo because it doesn't have cycling. I would at most be able to run 2 in the deck and take out the learn from the pasts, but thats pretty meh. Ive also considered Pure Intentions.

Oh god, don't play Rain of Gore! It only operates when your opponent gains their own life, not when you give them life. On top of that, it hurts you when you try to gain life. Rain of Gore is worse than False Cure, which says quite a bit.
This is a combo deck. It loses to discard and counterspell effects. I play Pure Intentions, Mana Tithe and extra Enlightened Tutors in my sideboard for such occasions. You don't need Drown in Sorrow. You're already playing plenty of removal and Wall of Shards to handle those aggro decks.

So I had to sell my Leyline of Sanctity. Luckily I have a backup plan! Pure Intentions!

It's...sort of something..kinda..maybe..

Alright so this guy runs mono discard at my LGS. Yes I Know I'm bad. But being paired against him and drawing these would be so worth it.
