Null Chamber

World Enchantment

As Null Chamber enters the battlefield, you and an opponent each name a card other than a basic land card.

The named cards can't be played.

Well that explains a lot about your approach to deck building.

I'm intrigued by your late 90s shell. Energy Field, Pendrell Mists, Karmic Justice, Null Chamber...

It would prevent damage from Primal Order and Price of Progress, and Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon don't effect you.

How does it interact with Null Chamber, though? With Rootpath Purifier out, does Stomping Ground count as the name of a basic land?

Cool deck!!! I really dig the intent here. You might like these: Null Chamber, Vizier of Tumbling Sands (can untap your friend's lands or mana rocks), Aphetto Alchemist, Unbender Tine, Hyperion Blacksmith, Tidewater Minion, Fatestitcher, Ghostly Touch, Nin, the Pain Artist, Captivating Glance, Act of Treason (steal an opp's creature, then use Zedruu to permanently give that creature to your friend), Braingeyser, Arcane Artisan, Proteus Staff, Diviner Spirit

I like it. Definitely a very similar list to mine though there are card choices I disagree with; I can see their applications in certain meta environments; these are the cards I see as niche

Blazing Volley - are there a bunch of elves or an edric player in your group?

Cleansing Meditation - not sure what your meta looks like but even against the most tuned zur deck a Disenchant has always out performed this card. Granted, if everyone is playing enchantress style decks in your meta then this is probably the correct card

Null Chamber - feels very over costed and seems like a double sided sword; though it seems like a fun political card for casual.

Tilonalli's Summoner - not niche I just don't like all the restrictions on this card for it to work.

Hey BMHKain, these are the changes that I would make:

You might like these cards too: Smothering Tithe, Blind Obedience, Null Chamber, Nevermore, Pithing Needle, No Mercy, Maddening Imp, Angel's Trumpet

In case it wasn't clear, and since I can't edit:

Most of the time that is going to be you since enchantments are usually only able to be cast on your main phase. However; if you have Vedalken Orrery , Leyline of Anticipation , blink Null Chamber on an opponent's turn, or somehow else make it ETB on an opponent's turn you may not be the active player. In this case the active player, or the next player in turn that is involved in the decisions, makes their choice first and then each other involved player in turn order.

I want to know who is supposed to name a card first, you or the chosen opponent, when the effect of Null Chamber resolves. It could also be simultaneous but idk how to tell.
