This looks like a pretty solid list. A lot of the tweaks are going to depend on personal preference.
Here are some cards to consider:
Sprout Swarm can be really good leading into a big turn. With convoke and buy back this card can bring a lot of value.
Attrition is both a sac outlet and a way to clear threats on the board.
You might want to consider some of the bigger saproling producers so you have plenty of ammo for slimefoot. Sporemound , Thelonite Hermit , and Verdeloth the Ancient .
Cards to consider replacing:
Birds of Paradise is not really good in EDH, it's not bad, it is just ok. for ramp consider the signet.
Tormod's Crypt is kind of situational, graveyard hate is not always needed. I would consider Night Soil or Necrogenesis to add to your saprolings instead.
Doomblade, one more mana for a Hero's Downfall or a Never/Return is better bet.
Tainted Strike is dirty, and we usually don't play dirty, but it's your call.

You think I should move Abrupt Decay, Never//Return, or Geth's Verdict into the main board? What would you move into the sideboard? Also do you think that Hero's Downfall being an instant makes it more valuable than Never//Return?

Lol, yeah calmdodge it's pretty terrible. I try to play it sparingly (but it's pretty fun).

What about Never//Return over Ruinous path? Get the other spell to cast from your grave, remove something relevant from an opponents.

Thank you for the feedback
I love reset buttons/ board wipes. I. My aggro wizards I run fiery Cannonade main too. In token mirror match often it boils down to who set up better. In agro mirrors it often is "who's out of the gate first" Well with a wipe.. I can hold back, look like I'm behind and let them over commit before clearing it and building up :)
I have never considered Never//Return but will certainly look at it for sideboard since my sideboard is still in a state of flux :)

the only reason this is modern is dreadbore, I would make it standard and change dreadbore to Never//Return.

Actually, it occurs to me that Treasure Map Flip might be a great fit for the sideboard against Control decks. We're already pretty good against Control thanks to main-decking Duress and all our other discard, but we don't have a lot of great things to board in when our removal is mostly dead.
Hmm. If you went down Never//Return and a Walk the Plank / Cast Down in favor of 3x Vraska's Contempt, then you could ditch Hour of Glory and 1x copy of Lost Legacy from the sideboard for 3x Treasure Map Flip. That actually sounds pretty solid.
