Naya Hushblade

Creature — Elf Rogue

As long as you control another multicolored permanent, Naya Hushblade gets +1/+1 and has shroud. (It can't be the target of spells or abilities.)

Hey I like the deck, it's festive and fun. I love the idea of not aiming to win, but smashing faces and just having a good time. Pulling out wins will make it just that much more fun. Couple of notes: Trace of Abundance and Naya Hushblade won't work because is has a Naya color identity, so it's not legal for Gruul commander. May I recommend Overabundance? The newly printed Wild Magic Surge also is perfect with your commander, especially with her triggered ability. Akki blizzard herder is a fun inclusion. Maybe regrowth effects like Once and Future will be good here to get cards back?

I'm not sure I'd pick Scion of Draco over Tribal Flames - this feels like the kind of deck where reach really matters. That said, the deck feels light on 2 drops creatures otherwise. I'd feel better about it if it protected itself like Naya Hushblade . Something to be tinkered with.

I'm not sure about glacial/scrying sheets- Into the north is slow, scrying sheets takes you off of desperately needed coloured mana and glacial refills your hand, but can't pick up gas (most creatures non-snow), so Winding Way or Once Upon a Time might be stronger. They are great cards if you want to be midrange, but this is a zoo list.

Since your creatures mostly care about forests (sorry wild nacatyl), you might look at increasing the forest count and running more artifact fixing ( Springleaf Drum , Chromatic Sphere , Navigator's Compass , Paradise Mantle ), which would also let you pick up Shrapnel Blast to finish games. While I'm mentioning burn options, I have seen Tribal Flames in non budget versions of these lists- representing ten points of burn from flames/blast will win games.

There is also the option of trying to make your creatures mostly playable with green mana (like Sunblade Elf , Lupine Prototype or Soultether Golem ), then cast Lush Growth / Nylea's Presence or get a singleton Sacred Foundry off Flower / Flourish . This is a bit more fragile.

If you want to go harder into snow-matters, Boreal Druid and Coldsteel Heart offer ramp, while Frostwalk Bastion is a decent manland, but that will look more like a midrange value list (eventually becoming another Ice-Fang Coatl list, and less like zoo, and may call for dropping to two colours on a budget.

If you do want to move up in CMC, Knight of New Alara offers multicolour-matters synergy, while the Naya Hushblade cycle isn't awful.

This list is pretty close to the traditional 'little kid green/white' lists from a long while back, but it will need some tinkering and a clearer gameplan.

There are a bunch of options; Bant Sureblade , Dromoka's Command , Dryad Militant , Emmara, Soul of the Accord , Gaddock Teeg , Huatli's Raptor , Naya Hushblade , Oath of Ajani , Qasali Pridemage , Gnarlwood Dryad , etc.

In particular though, Pelt Collector is another four experiment one, which lets you drop your curve lower to the floor and run Dryad Militant . Qasali Pridemage is an answer to bridge, which is practically mandatory in this meta. Gnarlwood's deathtouch helps answer the wealth of 'huge creature turn two' decks out there.

If you aren't running removal, this means you are always racing your opponent, so you should look at your clocks and try to win as fast as possible- modern is full of both combo and aggro decks structured like this. Traditionally naya for Wild Nacatl Loam Lion and Kird Ape is the thing, but going to three colours on a budget manabase is tricky- especially if you want to go fast.

More midrange strategies with budget mana tends to be more relaiable- Keep your turn 1-2-3 plays in one colour and accelerate into a duel colour 5 drop. Great 5 drops like Thragtusk are cheap. 'Get bigger' creatures like Warden of the First Tree and Hexdrinker are readily available, and cards like Oust or Oblivion Ring fix a lot of problems. Birds of Paradise has gotten expensive over the years- for pristine playsets. Check the damaged lists out there- there are a lot of cheap copies in circulation.

if you feel that strongly about Naya Hushblade , then go ahead and use it. but something else to consider is that once she has shroud, she can't be regenerated by Ezuri, Renegade Leader , because ezuri targets. this means that having shroud will make her more vulnerable in combat.

10 multicolored permanents means you'd have to see an average of 12 cards from your deck before you saw a 2nd one. that puts you at turn 5 if you're on the draw, or turn 6 if you're on the play. thats already kinda late for an aggro deck in modern, and its also before taking into consideration the fact that your opponent will likely destroy one. Naya Hushblade 's ability will only be relevant a small portion of the time, whereas there are other elves that are always useful.

since you only have 2 multicolored permanents, i'd take the Naya Hushblade out.
