Budget Green/Red Energy Pummeler (Help needed!)

Hey man! You going to update this deck? I saw that you saved my pummeler deck, so hopefully you can get ideas from that. Lightning Runner, Maulfist Doorbuster, and Architect of the Untamed seem too slow for this deck. I do like the Commencement of Festivities for how aggro this meta is with decks like mono red and Mardu vehicles dominating the format.Larger Than Life, Voltaic Brawler, and Servant of the Conduit need to go in the deck. I'm aware you already have a brawler, but it is so good in the deck it needs at least 3 copies.

Budget Green/Red Energy Pummeler (Help needed!)

Invigorated Rampage should be a four of. I highly recommend going up to a full four of both Blossoming Defense and Harnessed Lightning as well.
To make room for the additional 9 cards, I would look at removing Commencement of Festivities, Built to Smash, Maulfist Doorbuster. Additionally, Attune with Aether was banned in Standard this week, so it's gotta go too.
Other cards you could consider are Bristling Hydra, Woodweaver's Puzzleknot, and Fling. I can point you to my Temur version of this deck, Pummeler Smash, but I have yet to adjust it based on the banning of Attune and Rogue Refiner.

I planned to replace the Maulfist Doorbuster with the Voltaic Brawler once I got them in. R/G for a 3/2 or 4/3 with trample seems better to me than a 4 mana 2/2 double strike with potential

I feel like you should replace Maulfist Doorbuster with Scrapper Champion to add in some more nice double strike

What a cool list! I just have a few suggestions:
First, there are too directions you are forced to take it: Energy on ron energy. I've noticed that the lack of efficient energy producers means you have to be fully devoted to energy or not at all.
If you choose to drop the energy and go full counterburn:
Lightning Axe - very strong card, definantly worth adding.
Void Shatter - Very good in this format.
Stormchaser Mage - Havn't seen much of this card lately, but definantly good here.
Since this strategy calls for removing energy, you might want to add Wandering Fumarole. I know its a tap land, but you can animate this one, so its better than Highland Lake! I'd also consider a 1 of of Geier Reach Sanitarium, cause you can filter your hand.
If you decide to go the more energy route:
Harnessed Lightning - Gets you energy, lets you burn away creatures. Perfect!
Thriving Grubs - Creates two energy for , ok.
Aethertorch Renegade - Way better in terms of energy per mana.
Whirler Virtuoso - Could be a game winner if used correctly.
Maulfist Doorbuster - Same as above

Awakening Zone and From Beyond are supercharged experience counters in Meren :)
But mostly, and on a budget, Archfiend of Depravity is insane! First of all, one of the best flavour texts printed lately (probably beaten only by the recent Maulfist Doorbuster in the last couple of years), and mostly a ironclad lock on the game once you get your Grave Pact-effect and a sac outlet. Force everyone to trim the board down to 2 creatures, sac your minions to make them keep one or none at all and from there on you are the one with the board presence.
Jarad's Orders is additional cheap tutoring and it's nice.
Other options would already go way over budget, I believe. Feel free to check my deck for any other ideas and exchange thoughts too ;)

Saheeli Rai actually works quite well with it. Apart from picking away as she scrys to make draws more consistent, by copying energy making creatures, she can massively increase my energy count. Obviously her ultimate is useless here, but she isn't meant to get to that point.
The alternatives are more pummellers at that drop, as the hellions just suck up too ,uch energy to keep themselves alive.
But yeah in terms of consistency, what other cards did you have in mind? The dragsters I guess are one? Replacing them with Maulfist Doorbuster or Whirler Virtuoso?
