Mana Clash Discussion

This is wonderful! I'd recommend either Mages' Contest or Mana Clash to represent the Priori Incantantem that Harry and Volde are so fond of making. Also Intervention Pact for the shield of love that saves Harry.

Effects that say "X happens if the result is tails/heads" and such like that don't count as a win or loss for a player. So spells like Mana Clash and Ral Zarek don't work well with the effects of the commanders. Other than that the deck looks great!

Crazed Firecat and Molten Sentry are just general upside for coin flipping and board presence. Elemental Mastery gives Okaun the ability to go pretty damn wide (potential win-con). Mana Clash gives you a good deal of flips usually, Fighting Chance flips a lot of coins for cheap. I'm actually brewing my deck tech for these guys as we speak, I like what you got!

Thanks to all of you! I am currently looking at the cards you suggested, but I dont quite get how Goblin Game works. I had thought of Krark's Thumb but needed a rules clarification: if you have Krark's Thumb and Chance Encounter out, and you get two won coin flips off of Krark's Thumb, will you get one or two luck counters? My guess is one, but hey, who knows? Im also thinking about Mana Clash, and am deciding if I should put it in my deck. Again, thanks!

I would say Mana Clash, Game of Chaos, and Fiery Gambit are good Chaos cards. I know you say no artifacts but these become very powerful with Krark's Thumb.

Can't have a coin flip deck without Mana Clash

Great deck idea! I like coin flip cards a lot myself, the randomness brings a fun element. They are mostly red, I think. Mana Clash, Viashino Sandswimmer, Fickle Efreet, Wild Wurm, Winter Sky, etc.
