Dont know what you are trying to do with the deck since you have several cards for others builds in here.Dont see a use for Bloodbond Vampire since you not gaining much life.Bloodhusk Ritualist for my deck wasnt that good. Kheru Bloodsucker not worth since you dont have my creatures for it.No reason for him at all unless its a fillerSkeletal Changeling.Chainer's Edict feel like there are better things that do this. Planar Bridge tutors are better. Not the best for how you have this deck built right nowBlighted Fen. Geier Reach Sanitarium dont use lol. Piranha Marsh use a Swamp. Not worth it Sorin's Thirst. Wound Reflection great card but not made for this deck.

here are some better sacrifice cards: Barter in Blood Fleshbag Marauder Innocent Blood Plaguecrafter Smallpox Tyrant's Choice

better land drawMikokoro, Center of the Sea

Some suggested creatures: Asylum Visitor Crypt Ghast Dark Impostor Drana, Liberator of Malakir Magus of the Coffers Sangromancer Skeletal Vampire Stromkirk Condemned

instant/sorcery: Beseech the Queen Blood Tribute Dark Petition Diabolic Tutor Night's Whisper Read the Bones Zombify Murder Sudden Spoiling Ultimate Price Victim of Night

artifact: Sword of the Animist

I'd run 4x Zulaport Cutthroat and 4x Grim Haruspex. Merciless Executioner pairs really well with Dictate of Erebos type effects, so might be worth running more of.

Phantom General probably isn't worth running. Kheru Bloodsucker isn't very good, you don't have many things to trigger it. Geist-Honored Monk is okay, but doesn't really fit into what you're trying to do. Doomed Dissenter is okay as sacrifice fodder, but that's all he does. Not a huge fan of the instant / sorcery spells except for Bone Splinters.

Children of Korlis is a cool human that can sac itself ot trigger Xathrid and its effect negates damage for a turn. Benevolent Bodyguard can be sac'd to save one of your important guys from removal, like Xathrid; and he's also a human to trigger the effect.

Thanks a ton for that deck link! I kind of have a better understanding of where I want to go with this. I'm thinking of going for more of an Aristocrat build utilizing the tribal theme with the mass of tokens that Edgar Markov will produce. So cards like Kheru Bloodsucker, Blood Artist, Drana's Emissary,Sanctum Seeker,Twilight Prophet, and Zulaport Cutthroat are what I'm thinking of.

I now need to cut roughly 18 cards to get the 30 or so lands that I want. Any suggestions are welcome!

usaDiabetic I've updated the description. 30-35 lands is as trim as it can go, haha!

It is true that once there are more than 3 opponents this kind of strategy faces greater opposition. I've played most often with 1-4 opponents but 4, 5, or more opponents would be trouble!

To be fair to the deck, the card draw of Herald's Horn, Skullclamp, The Immortal Sun, Vanquisher's Banner, Asylum Visitor, Champion of Dusk, Dusk Legion Zealot, Forerunner of the Legion, Twilight Prophet, Dark Prophecy, Necropotence, Phyrexian Arena and reanimation of Victimize, Patriarch's Bidding, Living Death, Bloodline Necromancer help sustain after board wipes.

Enough creatures have excellent effects as well to benefit from being knocked out including Kheru Bloodsucker, Paladin of Atonement, Elenda, the Dusk Rose, Kalastria Highborn, Pawn of Ulamog, Voldaren Pariah  Flip, Bloodghast, Oathsworn Vampire, Viscera Seer, Blood Artist, and Falkenrath Noble.

And for disruption/removal there's New Blood, The Immortal Sun, Voldaren Pariah  Flip, Vampire Hexmage, Thief of Blood, Patron of the Vein, Captivating Vampire, Bloodhusk Ritualist, Gatekeeper of Malakir, Guul Draz Assassin, and Bishop of Binding.

I'm open to suggestion though. Any other removal options you might recommend?

I'd recommend a Pitiless Plunderer. He works alot like Phyrexian Altar, but with a few pros and cons compared to it (Costs an additional mana and is easier to kill, but stores mana as turns go by. If you want to chump block with a few saprolings, you'll still get your mana). He also can substitute for Ashnod's Altar in the combo Grimlock mentioned above since Parallel Lives doubles any tokens.

In addition to that, cards like Blood Artist, Falkenrath Noble, Zulaport Cutthroat and Kheru Bloodsucker can help the deck alot. Zulaport himself halves the number of required Saproling deaths. Kheru cuts the number of Saproling deaths (if you can give them +3/+3 with cards like Tendershoot dryad) by 1/3. With both, you'll be killing your opponents 4x as quickly. In 1 vs. 1, Falkenrath and Blood artist are even greater due to their targeted gain drain, but it can work in multiplayer games.

Also, Second Harvest can be very beneficial.

This Commander was the only one I was excited for in Dominaria, at least for now. I especially enjoy the flavor of the card, since fungi basically just steal energy from living things like trees.

Sorry for the late reply; I've been on vacation. Some thoughts on the cards you mentioned:

Stensia Masquerade - Is a pretty solid card and I've thought about running it multiple times, just not entirely sure what I'd take out in its place. I would say that currently I prefer anthem effects that buff immediately.

Reconnaissance - I think this is a really awesome card for Edgar decks and now I'm trying to see if I can find a slot for it in my own list. Thanks for reminding me this card exists.

Markov Blademaster - I did have it in the deck at one point and I think it's a great inclusion for some of the flex vampire slots in this deck.

Kheru Bloodsucker - I'm personally not a fan of this card. I think it's way too situational and there are much better aggressive you could be running over this card. The art also creeps me out; Tarkir vampires fuel nightmares.

Tithe Drinker - I've tested this card and IMO if you want to run a extort effect, Blind Obedience is a much better inclusion (even though it's not a vampire for Edgar triggers) as it is far more cohesive with the aggro strategy of this deck. I think Tithe Drinker performs much better in an aristocrats style deck.

Gifted Aetherborn - Honestly I can't give you a good explanation as to why I don't run this card; it's got so much value attached to it for 2 mana. I know I've considered adding it to my list, not sure why I haven't done that yet. Run this card, it's pretty fantastic.

Sorry for a second post. I really wish that we could edit posts...

How do you feel about these four vamps?

Markov Blademaster- Extra +1/+1's for first strike and regular damage (and we have other cards that offer this buff, which makes it even better)

Kheru Bloodsucker- It's not uncommon to have all of our vamps have 4 toughness.

Tithe Drinker- Lifelink. Also, a little extra reach every time you play something.

Gifted Aetherborn- Just seems decent for 2cmc.
