Juxtapose

Sorcery

You and target player exchange control of the creature you each control with the highest converted mana cost. Then exchange control of artifacts the same way. If two or more permanents a player controls are tied for highest cost, their controller chooses one of them.

Played a game at an LGS on Sunday. First time playing the deck. Only 4 players there and one had to leave early. Can't say the game was high quality. Faced a Yurlok and a Niv Mizzet. Niv player was new to EDH and pretty much net-decked and and then had a lot of difficulty tracking his triggers with Veyran, Voice of Duality and Harmonic Prodigy on the field. The deck had insane ways to control the board if I wanted to, but didn't want to ruin his experience as he's new. Still, was able to make some observations.

I knew the land count was low so I bumped that up to a more reasonable 36. Will have to observe how well that works since we have such high average CMC. Spawnbroker was a a dud. I have low power creatures in this list and couldn't swap for anything useful. Moderation seemed decent, but once you're over that hurdle of the first few turns, you really start to feel sluggish with its limitations. Planar Guide costs too much and is telegraphed. Ebony Owl Netsuke was cute against the Niv player and knocked him out, but was pretty lackluster. Iron Maiden fills this slot nicely.

Perplexing Chimera was game-warping. This card singlehandedly caused mayhem until people coordinated to get rid of it. Great card.

Additions: A land Djinn of Infinite Deceits Juxtapose Phantom Steed Order of Succession

Cuts: - Archaeomancer - Ebony Owl Netsuke - Paradoxical Outcome - Planar Guide - Spawnbroker

Have you considered Rainbow Vale or Juxtapose ?

Fun looking deck. +1

I have been having lots of fun abusing Aminatou's -1 ability to steal opponent's creatures with Gilded Drake . Juxtapose is another interesting card with a similar effect.

Another fun card to flicker that removes an opponent's artifacts or enchantments is Act of Authority . Casting Reality Acid on any of our opponent's stuff and then flickering it out is a good piece of hard removal too.

An alternate win condition that is quite fun if you have ways to control the top of your library is Approach of the Second Sun .

Here's my take on upgrading the "Subjective Reality" commander pre-con with Aminatou, the Fateshifter at the helm here.

My strategy is about 70% topdeck shenanigans, 30% flicker/blink. Its a little bit powered down from yours (7-8 power level out of 10, no infinite combos).

Cheers!

Making some small updates for RNA:

IN: Kaya, Orzhov Usurper , Mnemonic Betrayal , Hallowed Fountain , Forbidding Spirit

OUT: Teferi, Hero of Dominaria , Vedalken Plotter , Azorius Chancery , Juxtapose

Kaya and Betrayal is a new combo I want to try out (h/t Justin Parnell and Think Twice), so out goes valuable but off-theme Teferi and sometimes-useful Plotter. Hallowed Fountain is a strict upgrade, and Juxtapose felt clunky to me - so I'm trying out the Spirit. Any thoughts on these changes?

Awesome deck. Definite +1 for showing me Shared Fate. Arjun, the Shifting Flame seems to be an on theme Commander, randomness and whimsical. Juxtapose for another Cultural Exchange type effect.

There's lots in blue. Switcheroo, Legerdemain, Shifting Loyalties, Chromeshell Crab, Cultural Exchange, Djinn of Infinite Deceits, Juxtapose and Spawnbroker all do what you want to do, though I guess Spawnbroker, the crab and the djinn all break with the "no creatures with abilities" restriction.

White doesn't have anything besides quirky gain-control effects, like Preacher, Evangelize, Debt of Loyalty and Jabari's Influence, but they don't switch.
