Infuse with the Elements

Instant

Converge — Put X +1/+1 counters on target creature, where X is the number of colors of mana spent to cast Infuse with the Elements. That creature gains trample until end of turn.

perhaps the sunburst mechanic would be useful like Etched Oracle, Spinal Parasite and Engineered Explosivescould be handy for some utilty... same goes for the converge mechanic with something like Infuse with the Elements.

Illusificate,
Zada is a Legendary, so I don't like running more than 3 of her. Especially for Mirrorwing, which is just soooo much more resilient. I like the idea of Larger Than Life though ... not in the side, but maybe as part of the Invigorated Rampage/Rush of Adrenaline mix. Earthen Arms is really good ... tbh, one of the most powerful ZadaFur variants is a +1/+1 counter-based strategy. It needs a lot more ramp, and then spells like Arms, Infuse with the Elements, and Might Beyond Reason. I just happen to prefer the more "combat trick" gameplay.

Thanks much!

Did you see that you can also use Kazuul's Toll Collector and equip it over and over with Bone Saw or Cathar's Shield?

How about adding for Infuse with the Elements, Larger Than Life, and Nature's Way?

That will let you secure your win earlier, and put more combo pieces in the deck.

clayperce The Woodland Wanderer is actually really good, most of the time its a turn 4 6/6 vigilance, trample because of Servant of the Conduit, Aether Hub and the lands, but sometimes im not lucky enough.

I really like the idea of Skyrider Elf because it could help against flyers and have evasion for attacking. Idk about Infuse with the Elements though, maybe a 1 or 2 of. Its an unexpected combat trick.

Good cards to test out, thanks!

mikedaddyswagz,
I just noticed Woodland Wanderer on your sideboard; that's really clever! Do you have a feel yet for how it's working out? thanks in advance for your thoughts!

You've also got me thinking about other Converge cards like Infuse with the Elements and even Skyrider Elf! Hmmm ...

Pick your poison, you could use either Larger Than Life, Infuse with the Elements, Nature's Way, Haunted Cloak, or Engineered Might. Personally I'd go with Haunted Cloak just for the added bonus of Haste.

Argeaux,
Makes sense on Clear Shot. And yeah, the 1 power difference of a 1/1 Eldrazi Scion vs. a 0/1 Plant can make all the difference!

A few more thoughts though ...

I've found this deck to provide the most challenge to Zada and Mirrorwing: $13 Budget GB Aristocrats(Rotation Proof)

Swapping Woodcutter's Grit and Otherworldly Outburst for Brute Strength and Infuse with the Elements seems to work.

What's REALLY working is Ramping nag into Zada and Mirrorwing using mana dorks, who then benefit from the pump spells.

It's nothing to have a field of Creatures 3/3 and larger, by Turn 6.
