my recommendation would be to make Lurrus a 4 or 3x in the deck and don't bind yourself to his companion conditions. Call of the Death-Dweller and Murderous Rider and Demonic Embrace are then cards to consider.

Either way, I think Mogis's Favor /Sentinel's Eyes Indomitable Will / Pacifism / Trapped in the Tower / Grim Physician / Malevolent Noble / Witch's Oven are all candidates for the chopping block.

For creature control 4x Dead Weight and 4x Mire's Grasp + either Heartless Act or Murderous Rider should be all you need. I play a lot of Hateful Eidolon and getting the payoff with those enchantments is huge. So it's best to keep a heavy focus on that.

I am trending away from global enchantments in favor of repeated life gain or creature generation in this batch of edits. I made sweeping edits in several categories:

  • Lands

Swapped out 8 Plains for Cryptic Caves, Desert of the True, Encroaching Wastes, Idyllic Grange, Karn's Bastion, Labyrinth of Skophos, Radiant Fountain and Secluded Steppe.

  • Defensive Auras

Upgraded Pious Interdiction to Recumbent Bliss (which would potentially provide many instances of life gain instead of 1) and dropped Bonds of Faith in favor of Gossamer Chains.

  • Offensive Auras

Upgraded Chosen by Heliod to Soaring Hope, Hope Against Hope to Spirit Mantle, Indomitable Will to Gift of Immortality and Ordeal of Heliod to Sunbond.

  • Sorceries

Upgraded from Blessed Reversal to Aetherflux Reservoir, Plea for Guidance to Silent Sentinel and added Pegasus Stampede for more ETB creature triggers.

  • Vanilla Creatures

Swapped out generic flyers (Armored Pegasus, Concordia Pegasus, Loyal Pegasus, Mistral Charger, Stormfront Pegasus, Wingsteed Rider) for ones with more ability or utility (Pegasus Charger, Plated Pegasus, Eiganjo Free-Riders).

  • Relevance

Bigger is not necessarily better so I opted to swap out Serra Avatar for Danitha Capashen, Paragon.

  • Defense and Removal

I swapped out Elspeth Conquers Death and Ghostly Prison in favor of Sacred Mesa and Monastery Mentor and Giant Killer for Frontline Medic.

  • Boost

I also replaced 3 boost effects (Commander's Insignia, Dictate of Heliod, Honor of the Pure) with 3 alternate win conditions (Test of Endurance, Felidar Sovereign, Archon of Redemption).

  • Life Gain

Replaced 3 less efficient or reliable life gain sources (Soldier of the Pantheon, Righteous Cause, Honden of Cleansing Fire) with better ones (Soul's Attendant, Auriok Champion, Pious Evangel / Wayward Disciple, Linden, the Steadfast Queen, Answered Prayers).

The fact that shimmerwing chimera cannot return itself means that its controller shall need to have a way to continually generate enchantment tokens, or else a way to easily replay enchantments.

As with the hippocamp, stinging lionfish would be so much better if it, itself, had flash.

Omen of the forge is nice, but has a very straightforward and limited effect compared to the other omens.

Haktos the unscarred has a very interesting new usage of protection, but that shall make it difficult to put him into a deck as much as it will make it difficult for opponents to play against him. However, I wonder why the numbers 2, 3, and 4 were chosen; I, myself, would have chosen any number at random between 1 and 10 (or, if that is too extreme or a range, 1 and 5), to provide greater variability.

So, there are now sagas with four chapters; it is good to see WotC further expanding unusual and interesting mechanics.

Archon of falling stars is nice, but the fact that its ability triggers only when it dies prevents it from being little more than a niche card, in my mind.

The new Thassa is nice, but, at this point, there have been plenty of cards that exile a creature and then return it to the battlefield (mainly to cause abilities that trigger when a creature enters the battlefield to trigger, again), so she is nothing new or extraordinary.

I really wish that WotC had given new artwork to Banishing Light and Revoke Existence , since I dislike it when they use the same artwork, constantly, but at least most of the other cards that are being reprinted, most notably Idyllic Tutor and Indomitable Will , all have excellent new artwork.

Drag to the underworld is very awesome, and I hope that WotC explores that cost-reduction mechanic related to devotion on more cards.

Why is it that the creatures with the constellation mechanic are not enchantments, themselves? They would be so much better if they synergized with themselves.

Iroas is a red/white god, so why is the saga that honors him mono-green?

I kind of grown to like the legendary shrine enchantments. Do you have any suggestions on how to keep them in the deck? Just add more of them for consistency sake?I've never gotten Marshal's Anthem to work very well to be honest so you are probably right, so I think I'll just remove this from the deck.I definitely think you are right Hold the Line over Indomitable WillThe Sacred Foundry is a little too expensive for me, but I can get the other dual lands suggested. Did you mean that after getting rid of the 2 Boros Garrison and the 2 Boros Guildgate I should add 4 of Battlefield Forge and 4 of Temple of Triumph? I'm kinda confused on how I should do the mana base there.I'll look into the samurais I should add and stuff. Any more suggestions on what to replace and add is nice! And I saw many other samurai decks running removal like Lightning Bolt and Boros Charm and stuff, so I'll need to add some of that too.

Thank you soooo much!

Cool!

Let's start with you enchantments?

You have 2 shrines. I don't think two is enough to work consistently in the deck. So i would recommend either adding more or removing them completely.I think that Hold the Line is more satisfying that Indomitable Will. It's much more effective, even though the enchantments effect will last the whole game. Have you seen Marshal's Anthem in action? How is it? It seems kinda too cmc heavy.

Land Base!

If you're willing to go for it, consider Sacred Foundry, if not, just go for Battlefield Forge and Temple of Triumph to replace Boros Garrison and Boros Guildgate then bring each dual land up to a 4-count.

Creatures!

Sensei Golden-Tail is easier to cast than most samurai. Consider adding at least 3. Brothers Yamazaki could do with two more copies. You wanna maximize the combo

You have a ton of Legendaries. I think there's an artifact that negates the Legend Rule? Consider adding it to maximize your creatures.

Try adding more copies of each creature you like having. Particularly the creatures with cmc's lower than 4.

Instants!

The deck doesn't seem to be the most aggro deck ever, so you might want to have removal to slow down the enemy.

Valorous Stance and Lightning Strike, if not Lightning Bolt, are simple cards to start with.

Boros Charm, Banishing Light, cards like that.

There are tons of quality modern staples that you can look through for other removal cards.
